Re: Exception request: High contrast frames and separators
The underlying work is already there, and this doesn't seem to add much new code, just some UI changes and new strings (which will also need a string freeze exception). In light of the Accessibility Goal, I support an exception here. +1. Nate On 12/31/23 10:59, Akseli Lahtinen wrote: Hi! For style, it adds the checkbox toggle that sets the frame either default color or high contrast color. In window deco, we just remove the unnecessary settings, and only have three settings: Off, Default, High Contrast I do think this would be good to get in ASAP, since it is an accessibility feature and will be genuinely helpful for many who need high contrast colors in their setups. Please work on fixing them, otherwise i will remove the failing CI jobs on their 4th failing week, it is very important that CI is passing for multiple reasons. Bad news: 2 repositories are still failing = FAILING TESTS ON WINDOWS = kiconthemes: (3rd week) - https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kiconthemes/-/pipelines/570775 - kiconloader_unittest fails = FAILING TESTS ON FREEBSD = kquickcharts: (3rd week) - https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kquickcharts/-/pipelines/570779 - ShaderValidation fails Cheers, Albert
