Wasn't sure mentioning a technology like KPurpose directly wouldn't be
considered like jargon... I can change it indeed.

This is introduced by another patch which is through review as well.
The "Share" menu will show up and will always contain at least a couple of
actions, but the exact list of actions is unknown, it depends on which plugins
for KPurpose are available in the system and the settings the admins might have
put in place.

Hope that helps clarify a bit.

big of an issue (especially since the practical dependencies are still
 minimal).

OK, makes sense then. This patch should update the metainfo.yaml though.

These are links to techbase. Link text that was already English was just
updated. Spanish was supplied by apol. Korean was grabbed from the
Korean translation of techbase. The remaining ones I just replaced
KDE4 with KDE Software (capitalized like that so it is like a
coherent term). Translators can touch up the text later if they wish.

Sure, it's just that I try to prune reviews with lack of activity. Otherwise

So any news? Last warning, I'll discard on my next review round.

 Description

 - If this patch is applied, once kde4support is *installed* (no explicit
dependency is needed), other modules can use the old DTD. Of course it's
better to port them to the new one.

 - Please note that some files should be copied with complete history from the
corresponding files in kdoctools before the changes of RR116068:
 cmake/FindDocBookXML4.cmake (copied and unchanged)
 src/customization/catalog4.xml (from catalog.xml, then modified)
 src/customization/dtd/kdex.dtd.cmake (copied and unchanged)

 - this patch includes also the commit which bumps the included documentation
to 4.5 (needed in order to test this patch and RR116068).

This RR comprises the steps 2), 3b) and (limited to the current module) 3c)
 of the plan described here:

[kde-doc-english] Review Request 115876: More generic DocBookXML - DocBookXML4

 Luigi Toscano wrote:
There are no other use apart from kdoctools and (soon) kde4support. The
module (and the companion FindDocBookXSLT) is now more generic (the legacy
part will be removed once it lands into kde4support), so maybe could go
upstream, but regarding ECM I'm not aware of other applications/libraries
 using it.

I agree with Alex there, if there's no indication of users so far, let's maybe
move that to kdoctools even if that means putting a copy in kde4support.

 Description

FindDocBookXML.cmake was originally part of kdelibs/kdoctools, but not
installed. The version currently in ECM is, as the old one, is quite tight to
the old behavior, it hardcodes the DocBookXML version currently used.
 - the rename reflect the fact that it's used for DocBookXML4; a future
 DocBookXML5 could be added if needed;
 - the structure allows a generic usage (find DocBookXML version 4.x), not
tied to the usage in KDocTools. KDocTools will be changed to call it with the
correct version (the version number is a property of KDocTools, not used
outside it, but hidden inside meinproc5 and libKF5XsltKde.a).
 Next changes:
 - use DocBookXML4 (so DocBookXML4_* instead of DOCBOOKXML_* legacy variables)
 in frameworks
 - move the definition of legacy DOCBOOKXML_* in kde4support

Pushed by apol into branch 'frameworks'.

 Always generate documentation

DocBook generation tools should be working, just make sure you
have your system set up proprely so that meinproc can find the
documentation (you should have XDG_DATA_DIRS defined).
Also made sure everything is generated successfully.

I didn't enable it for sonnet though, it's in tier1 and kdoctools
is tier2, I'm unsure of what to do about this one.

Last it got discussed the goal was to make it optional dependency for that
one.

Cheers.

[kde-doc-english] [kdepim] doc/kmail: Make it parse properly

2013-06-19 Thread Kevin Ottens
Git commit f23021d51247af230f48aaf7ebe19fbfe18d901c by Kevin Ottens.
Committed on 19/06/2013 at 16:09.
Pushed by ervin into branch 'master'.

Make it parse properly

Apparently there was still problems with the review 111083.
I adapted the docbook code to make it build guided by the parser
complaints. That should complete Pino's commit.
