Re: [kde-freebsd] x11/xsnow in KDE4.14.3
Hi Matthias Yes, xdecorations does not seem to work with the configuration file. But passing the options via command line seems to work "mostly" -- maybe it was a bad idea to pull the latest commit for the port ^^ ... proably one could find the problem in the source code. xdecorations -help give you the possible values. No, I never gave xsnow itself a shot (I only found xdecorations after a google search for xsnow+kde). mfg Tobias 2015-12-08 20:11 GMT+01:00 Matthias Apitz: > El día Tuesday, December 08, 2015 a las 07:07:55PM +0100, T.C.Berner > escribió: > > > Hi Matthias > > > > xsnow is vry old. [kde-freebsd] plasma5 -- choqok with kf5/kde5 and qt5
Hi all, I've installed plasma5, and it's working really great. I have ported the git version of choqok, which uses kf5/kde5 and qt5, no kde4 or qt4 dependencies. It's working fine as far as I can tell, and I wanted to know whether there was interest in having it available. It requires some changes in existing ports, and new ports also, so I'm not sure whether it will break something somewhere (though nothing bad happened in my system until now): - new www/choqok-kf5 port (just to give it a name) --- from git - new net/qoauth-qt5 port (again, just to give it a name) --- from git - modified devel/qca-qt5 port (in an include file, qca_safetimer.h, so I'm not sure whether this will break something else) - modified devel/xdg-utils port (xdg-open calls for kde-open, and plasma-kde-cli-tools provides kde-open5) --- or some other way of dealing with the issue (symlink?) Additionally, the corresponding CONFLICTS should be included in www/choqok/Makefile. I'm not sure whether conflict with the existing qoauth port can be avoided. It's the first time I'm doing this, so things are hackish, but if there is interest, I can share.
