[SVN Commit] branches/plasma5/QT/devel

2016-12-30 Thread Tobias Berner
SVN commit 13535 by tcberner:

Kick devel/qbs and devel/qtcreator out of area51.

Until some port starts to use qbs a buidlsystem, this does not really require
to be in area51. Keeps us from forgetting to sync it with ports or vice-versa.

Re: kf5-attica-5.29.0

2016-12-30 Thread Tobias C. Berner
Hi there

Did you by any chance use the Qt ports from the plasma5 branch? They were
not quite in sync with ports and might have lead to problems ...
With branches/plasma5 r13536 they should be in sync again and hopefully
working :P

FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date

2016-12-30 Thread portscout
Dear port maintainer,

The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. If any ports have already been updated, you can
safely ignore the entry.

You will not be e-mailed again for any of the port/version combinations
below.

Full details can be found at the following URL:
http://portscout.freebsd.org/k...@freebsd.org.html

Port| Current version | New version
+-+
finance/skrooge | 2.5.0 | 2.6.0
+-+

If any of the above results are invalid, please check the following page
for details on how to improve portscout's detection and selection of
distfiles on a per-port basis:

http://portscout.freebsd.org/info/portscout-portconfig.txt

Thanks.

2016-12-30 Thread bugzilla-noreply

Bug 215680: multimedia/qt5-phonon4-vlc
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=215680

--- Description ---
Created attachment 178413

Patch to add Q_OS_FREEBSD to bypass bad argument passed to vlc

A message appears when multimedia/minitube starts:

"Phonon's VLC backend failed to start. This usually means a problem with your
VLC installation, please report a bug with your distribution."

When starting minitube from the terminal the following messages appear in the
terminal:

"vlc: unknown option or missing mandatory argument `--no-one-instance'
Try `vlc --help' for more information.
PHONON-VLC [FATAL__] libVLC: could not initialize
PHONON-VLC [FATAL__] Phonon::VLC::vlcInit: Failed to initialize VLC"

It seems that VLC does not accept the argument '--no-one-instance' in FreeBSD.

I patched libvlc.cpp (attached) to add Q_OS_FREEBSD alongside Q_OS_MAC in order
to not try to pass the above mentioned argument to VLC.

I rebuilt with the patch in "files" and it works well now.
