Re: Was kdepim overlooked in the update to 19.04.0?

2019-04-21 Thread Tobias C. Berner
Hi Greg

deskutils/kdepim is a metaport only pulling in dependencies, therefore most
often you don't see any commit to it on upgrades :), it however gets its
version changed to the one set in kde.mk.

kdepim-19.04.0

Looking more closely, it appears that the update to deskutils/kdepim
has yet to be committed to the svn repo.

You're right, kdepim-runtime is not even present in the pkg repo
currently. I'll wait for the next update. Thanks!

There was a hiccup in the build; kdepim-runtime fails sometimes. Looks like a
race and/or some undeclared dependency. Please try installing kdepim-runtime
again (I'm pretty sure it's built in the meantime; otherwise, build locally).

Was kdepim overlooked in the update to 19.04.0?

korganizer now aborts with:

ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libkorganizerprivate.so.5: Undefined symbol
"_ZN7Akonadi10Collection21markAttributesChangedEv"

and kmail now aborts with:

ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libkmailprivate.so.5: Undefined symbol
"_ZN9PimCommon19CustomToolsWidgetNgC1EP17KActionCollectionP7QWidget"

when attempting to compose a new message.

$ pkg which /usr/local/lib/libkorganizerprivate.so.o.5
/usr/local/lib/libkorganizerprivate.so.5 was installed by package
korganizer-18.12.3_1

$ pkg which /usr/local/lib/libkmailprivate.so.5
/usr/local/lib/libkmailprivate.so.5 was installed by package kmail-18.12.3
$ pkg info | fgrep kdepim
kdepim-18.12.3 KDE PIM applications metaport

kdepim-runtime-18.12.3_1 KDE PIM tools and services
libkdepim-19.04.0  KDE PIM Libraries

I suspect that the kdepim apps are out of sync with the kdepim libraries,
which were updated to 19.04.0.
