hello, I guess ffmpeg 4.0.1 doesnt work too, but... What about new MLT 6.10 ? Do not use FFMPEG 4 and MLT 6.8 since they break Kdenlive's functionalities. I have already reported this to Archlinux packagers. If your distribution has those versions please inform us or report it to them.
