One birthday parameter for the children field is not enough. It is better to add the spouse or children as other contact in the addressbook. Instead it could be implemented a genealogical relationship between contacts in the addressbook, but I don't know if this is expected by a addressbook. I configured Kmail to use pop3 following the instructions given here(http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13287) and things were fine for the last few months. Over the last two days, it has stopped downloading email. I get a message in the status bar saying 'X new messages', but none of the messages are in the Inbox. Check these things: - Do you have enough space left and the correct permissions to store the mail? - Are you using filters? Disconnected IMAP (imap.free.fr). Kmail didn't crash but my wireless connection regularly goes on and off. When it went back on, all my emails were gone for ever !
