[Bug 160597] New: kmail IMAP connector fails to work. Repetitive restarts of the program are needed to access mail.
--- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160597 Summary: kmail IMAP connector fails to work. Repetitive restarts of the program are needed to access mail. Product: kmail Version: unspecified Platform: SuSE RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org ReportedBy: xlastovi03 quick cz Version:(using KDE 3.5.9) Installed from:SuSE RPMs OS:Linux My IMAP setup works some time after I start kmail (via kontact). But after a while not using the mail, kmail hangs somewhere during periodic check of mail. The progress indicator is stuck with some number, which is sometimes negative! (often -1%). Which is worse that the stuck operation cannot be aborted by clicking on the close button of the progress dialog. It then just says "aborting" forever. I think the problem might be caused because of my wifi connection to net, which is not too reliable. But TCP layer and kmail should cope with that. The severity could be crash because it is needed to restart program to work again. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

The icon is out of my hands but requested on: http://techbase.kde.org/index.php?title=Projects/Oxygen/Missing_Icons I notice you put it on another icon page too on techbase. Thanks for that. I'll look into the HTML mode -> text mode thing. I was thinking about that during the week, so it should be fixable quite nicely. There's also a bug when removing the link that the link formatting is not removed, but I have an idea of a workaround for that. Note: foo bar the "Note:" part is displayed like email headers (bold) when using the "View Source" option. Most likely, this behavior is because in case of mime/multipart mails, this is an easy way to highlight Content-Type related headers of all mime parts. Unfortunately, mail bodys consisting of phrases like CEO: Wilbert E.
