Hi,

Sometimes when I send Japanese e-mail, random parts of the mail goes ? marks
and the end gets cut off, or marks. I'm not sure how to reproduce this, but
the "HTML document" of the message seems to be fine, only the "plain text
document" goes gibberish.

Some screenshots of the problem.

With those marks:

and it should look like this (HTML document):

and it should look like this (HTML document):

I'm using kmail 1.9.52 built from Gentoo svn overlay.

Raphael,

Is it possible to restore the navigator toolbar?
We'd need to create a list of actions from the Navigator.

Please add the ability to have recursive pages in Kontact's wonderful Notebooks
feature. This would be in a fashion similar to Knowit (unmaintained) and Basket
(so overengineered that it is useless for simple notekeeping).

Ideally, a page's icon would be slightly different if there is text in the page
or not, as was the case in Knowit. Empty pages are common when recursion is
possible. Thanks.

Version:(using KDE 4.0.83)

In KDE3, there was a subtle border around the list item of the mail that is
currently being displayed. This was very helpful when multiple list items (=
mails) were selected, as one could always tell which mail one was looking at.

This feature is missing in KDE4 (4.0.82). I guess it's not directly related to
KMail, but rather the implementation of the list widget (or maybe even
theming), so I'll leave it up to you to re-assign this wish to the correct
module.

"no debugging symbols found" means that the backtrace is not useful. If you can
reproduce the crash, you should install the debug enabled packages before
providing again the backtrace. Read this page for the instructions:

For full dialog I opt to merge them into folder properties (as tab) and to
_remove_ them from the folder menu, but for single options (see folder menu) I
opt to group them in the properties dialog but also to keep them in this menu
--> because it is faster to just switch one single option (like assign
shortcut, or load external references) and continue working.

Hi, not to be brusque, but there is a debug trace at the end.
I included the (no debugging symbols found) bit on the off chance that the
number of them might be helpful.

Thanks for your speedy reply.

[Bug 165248] New: Naming "Action Item" vs "ToDo"

ReportedBy: g111 netcologne de

Version: 1.9.52 (using KDE 4.0.83)
Installed from:Compiled From Sources
OS:Linux

In the folder view of kmail you can choose to only see mails that are tagged as
"To Do".

For me it was very difficult to find out how to tag a mail as "To Do", because
the tag is named "Action Item". This is inconsistent and should be called "To
Do", too.

Also the feature for adding a message to korganizer via "Create
To-do/Reminder..." is making it difficult to differ between this three things.

So my suggestion for naming these is:

* "Mark Message as To Do"
* [Filter Status] "To Do"
* "Create entry in korganizer..."

(This issue is related to kmail from KDE 3.5.9 as well)

The current message list filters do not include a filter for the mails that are
"actable". The attached patch adds one such filter with the definition used by
Gnus but Kmail should probably also include mails marked with TODO.
