KMail sometimes crashes when deleting multiple mails via IMAP. In this case I
did delete multiple mails at once and while they were being deleted (it took
very long, ~1sec. per mail), I did delete another mail and KMail did instantly
crash.

We rely on an old 3rd party library to read calendars and it doesn't like binary attachments. Try loading your calendar in Sunbird and saving it back out. Then load it into KOrganizer again.
