[Bug 171268] New: disabling word wrapping in composer window only for some lines
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171268 Summary: disabling word wrapping in composer window only for some lines Product: kmail Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Version:(using Devel) Installed from:Compiled sources It would be nice to have the ability to turn off word wrapping for only some lines in the composer window. This feature would be very useful, for example, when sending e-mails containing some kind of source code: if word wrapping is on, then long lines of code will be split in two lines, maybe producing broken code. Turning off word wrapping for the whole e-mail solves this problem but forces the user to manually insert line breaks, if he wants to avoid long lines in the parts of the message which aren't source code. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 171275] kmail crashes on startup with ASSERT: "s->parsed == false" in kdelibs4/kcmdlineargs.cpp
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171275 --- Comment #1 from John Baldwin 2008-09-18 14:19:14 --- Looking at the kcmdlineargs.h header, it seems that kmail is following the documented procedure: * // Initialize command line args * KCmdLineArgs::init(argc, argv, appName, programName, version, description ); * * // Define the command line options using KCmdLineOptions * KCmdLineOptions options; * * * // Register the supported options * KCmdLineArgs::addCmdLineOptions( options ); * * // Add options from other components * KUniqueApplication::addCmdLineOptions(); main(): KCmdLineArgs::init(argc, argv, &about); KCmdLineArgs::addCmdLineOptions( kmail_options() ); // Add kmail options if (!KMailApplication::start()) return 0; and PimApplication::Start() trickles down to KUniqueApplication::Start() which calls KUniqueApplication::addCmdLineOptions(). The example in the header wouldn't set s->parsed = TRUE until later when KCmdLineArgs::parseAllArgs() is called, so I think the example code in the header would always trip this assert. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 110384] "Remove recipient" button is too far off to the right
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=110384 Oded Arbel oded geek co il changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|UNCONFIRMED Resolution|FIXED | --- Comment #2 from Oded Arbel 2008-09-18 20:26:29 --- Thanks for the update :-) I don't think this resolves the original problem - the "clear" button is still very far off to the right and it is not comfortable to figure out the correct "clear" button when its 600 pixels to the right of a rather short email address. Regardless of consistency with other implementations for "clear" buttons, I think usability can be enhanced by having the clear button closer to the content. It might be a good idea to have the clear button on the left side in all implementations, I'm not sure of that, but it mostly problematic in the KMail composer use case where you have multiple lines with "clear" buttons and the text in each line is usually very short - with a normal screen and a decently sized composer window (one where you can write long texts in) the content of the address widget can easily take up only 10-15% of the width of the widget or even less. Considering the subject of this ticket and the content of the description I don't think this bug report should be closed "FIXED" as there was no change in the behavior against which the report was filed. I'm reopening this bug report, and if there is no intention of changing the described behavior, then this ticket should be closed as "WONTFIX" or possible "INVALID". -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
