--- Comment #11 from auxsvr yahoo com 2008-10-01 09:32:17 ---
I've had ~2 crashes the last two months related to precommands. I got an error
when it executed the precommand, then it crashed as I was reading akregator
feeds. Here's the backtrace:

[Bug 171947] New: kmail problem with sending iso-8859-1

2008-10-01 Thread Martin Schlander
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171947

Summary: kmail problem with sending iso-8859-1
   Product: kmail
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Version:(using KDE 4.1.1)
OS:Linux
Installed from:SuSE RPMs

I sent an email in iso-8859-1 charset, and got reports back that Thunderbird
couldn't read the email properly because the charset is set as

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso 8859-1

It seems there's a dash missing, should be iso-8859-1 I think.

I assume other mail clients can't read these mails properly either, at least
also the email archive for our LUG has problems with it:
See: http://sslug.dk/emailarkiv/announce/2008_09/msg4.html

Incidentally, I previously had the exact same problem with KNode.
See https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169411

Hello!

I receive emails but i cannot send them; emails are just moved to outbox.
Send queued emails from menu does nothing.
No explicit message error.
Same behavior with two different smtp servers.
Icedove works in the same situation --thanks God.

I append some (relevant?) info; please tell me if you need more files.
