To inform the user of the low disk space, I guess there is a plasmoid that does this. Add non-ascii characters (eg. chinese, cyrillic, ...) and let KMail choose the encoding automatically. 4. Wait for the message to be sent and forwarded using the filter. Result: The original message displays correctly. The forwarded message is displayed encoded. Kubuntu jaunty have this but it is still in alpha release but seems to work ok for me and fixes a somewhat similar bug 180741 for me. Be careful and check if it is ok for you to upgrade if you want to do this. They say there are issues with Xorg and fglrx driver and switch knetworkmanager to the applet if you use it. Re-start the app. The buttons are gone again. They won't come back, and you can't make them come back and stay there. the only way I've been able to put them back on the toolbar is to copy them from the Messege menu tree.
