[Bug 215655] New: kontact toolbar always forgets the new mail button

2009-11-22 Thread Ronny Standtke
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215655

Summary: kontact toolbar always forgets the new mail button
   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.3
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: ronny.stand...@gmx.net

Version:(using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages

Because I use the Check Mail button much more often than the New Message
button, I wanted to have this order in the toolbar:
Check Mail | New | ...
Therefore I removed the New Message... button from the kontact main toolbar.
After restarting kontact the new mail button is gone.
Here is a short demonstration video:
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/35118957/Kontact_Toolbar.ogv
The downstream bug report is here:

[Bug 215663] New: Composer/HTML mode: indentation increase doesn't work

2009-11-22 Thread S . Trzmiel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215663

Summary: Composer/HTML mode: indentation increase doesn't work
   Product: kmail
   Version: 1.12.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: x...@bmp.net.pl

Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Fedora RPMs

As in summary, one can't increase indentation with button from toolbar. I guess
indent. decrease does not work also, but can't try because there's no
indentation to decrease ;)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open KMail composer and enable HTML formatting in options menu.
2. Set text cursor in message edition window and click increase indentation
button.

Actual result:
Cursor (or selected row of text) stays glued to the left edge of window

Expected result:
Selected text and/or cursor moves right/left according to the
increase/decrease indentation.

A compilation problem, check that kdelibs is also updated to 4.3.3. If it is
already at that version you need to report that to the ArchLinux team (I guess
they would be already aware of such issue)

2009-11-22 Thread Ryan Ren
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215546

--- Comment #2 from Ryan Ren archx 163 com 2009-11-23 01:51:04 ---
I am using the Ubuntu lucid (development branch), it's upgraded from Ubuntu
9.10
without rebooting. The Qt and KDE were installed via the repo.
