[Bug 216562] New: FEATURE REQ: knode lacks of parallel network connections, plase add these

2009-11-28 Thread Arkadiusz Miskiewicz
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216562

Summary: FEATURE REQ: knode lacks of parallel network
connections, plase add these
   Product: knode
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: ar...@maven.pl

Version:(using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from:Unlisted Binary Package

Quite often when knode queues network jobs to be done one of these jobs hangs
(due to unknown reasons like server not responding fast enought etc) which
automaticly defers the rest of jobs.

This is feature request: please add parallel network connections (with some
configurable limit).

That should avoid such problems and also make knode more responsive in case
when you have hundreds of newsgroups and knode starts fetching recent headers
from each group.

OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I open Kontakt and look at the Calendar for example. When I'm done, I click on
the close x and have two icons in the tray: the Korganizer daemon's and the RSS
Akregator's, then there comes the error message and the latter icon disappears.

[Bug 216525] New: Multiple Email adresses in a row

2009-11-28 Thread veit.lentz
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216525

Summary: Multiple Email adresses in a row
   Product: kmail
   Version: 1.12.2
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: veit.le...@gmail.com

Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages

Hello,

if I want to send an email, I type in the first few characters of the person I
want to send the mail in the address field. Then a pulldown appears, where the
correct address is preselected. I hit , the email address is filled in
correctly and the cursor jumps into the next field. Whoop? Why does the cursor
not stay in the first field and wait for more input? If I write an email to
more than seven recipients, the recipient list gets very confusing :-(

If I want separate the addresses by comma, I have to select them with the mouse
- not very comfortable!

So, I wish I could do a preference, that the cursor stays in the first row when
I hit

[Bug 216513] New: Kontact crashes once every time I first try to start it.

2009-11-28 Thread Graham P Davis
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216513

Summary: Kontact crashes once every time I first try to start
it.
   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.3.3
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: hac...@scarlet-jade.com

Version: 4.3.3 (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS:Linux
Installed from:openSUSE RPMs

The first time I start Kontact after it has been closed during a session, it
will crash. As this does not happen when first logging on, I suspect that
something has not been cleaned up properly during closure which is handled OK
during logoff.

After each crash, the program restarts without any problem.

Here is the debug output:

[Bug 216309] Original message not quoted in reply

2009-11-28 Thread Joachim Eibl
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216309

--- Comment #2 from Joachim Eibl 2009-11-28 13:56:43 ---
Thank you for the information about the duplicate.
I managed to modify the templates and the quoting worked.
But the "Insert Command" menu-button provides only "Message text as is" but no
"Quoted Message Text". I only found out that I have to specify "%QUOTE" by
creating a completely new user. (Should I create a own report for this?)

Joachim
