--- Comment #11 from Christoph Lange 2010-11-08 17:03:12 ---
Suddenly, the color of my dIMAP folders also turned blue. That happened at the
same time as losing part of my settings in kmailrc – a problem that I can't and
don't want to reproduce. Strangely, I am at 77% of the quota (KMail reports
that), and under Appearance→Colors, the default color settings are active,
which say:
* some kind of red for "close to quota"
* "close to quota threshold" = 0% (BTW, is that a reasonable default value?)

"Remove Important Mark" is displayed at the second look at E-Mails.

But follwoing test failed:
1. Select a mail.
2. Mark mail as important.
3. Stay in the mail view and try to mark as not important.
=> It seems like Kmail didn't recognized, that I have marked the mail as
important.

   Product: KOrganizer Mobile
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Maemo 5
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general

Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS:Linux

version: 20101108.1194089-1maemo1.1193400

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new todo in a Kolab resource.
2. Look at the folder.

Actual Results:
An old todo is displayed twice and the new created todo is not displayed.
Selection of both todos shows that one todo is the new one and displayed
wrongly in the list.

Expected Results:
Both todos are displayed in the list.

Changing complete status of the todos in the list leads to strange behaviour.
Todos change their names and places and conflicts apprear.

tested with Kontact enterprise5 N900 20101108.1194089-1maemo1

I tried to send a mail to different account.
Kontact shows me a successfully sent msg.
But the mail was never received by the second test account.
So still broken.

(The mails were saved in the outbox and not copied to the sent-mail folder)

Changed from KDE Factory to Stable repos in OpenSUSE 11.3. This has pulled in
QT 4.6.3 and this issue is now resolved.

[Bug 256352] New: the use of "home" folder when saving or loading is confusing

2010-11-08 Thread davidblunkett
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=256352

Summary: the use of "home" folder when saving or loading is
confusing
   Product: kmail
   Version: 1.13.5
  Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: dav1dblunk...@hotmail.com

Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS:Linux

When saving or loading a file kde dialogs show

>Home

to refer to the users home folder. Most unix systems put the users' homes in
/home/username. Hence ">home" is both confusing and annoying as it looks like
it should refer to "/home/" rather than "/home/username/".

Acceptable solutions would be "> Home folder" or ">home>username" but what is
wrong with "/home/username"?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
In and kde 4.4 app save or load a file, the users' home directory appear as
">home"

Actual Results:
In and kde 4.4 app save or load a file, the users' home directory appear as
">home"

Expected Results:
The user's home should appear as "/home/username" or "~username" or anyone of
the correct ways to refer to this path instead of the incorrect and confusing
">Home"

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35.4-12-desktop-matt
Compiler: gcc

[Bug 250138] kontact crashed when switching from small to large icons in the sidebar (list over on the left side)

--- Comment #12 from Wonko 2010-11-08 10:42:58 ---
I also have kontact crashing when selecting small icons. This is Gentoo Linux @
amd64, kontact 4.4.7, KDE 4.5.3, Qt 4.7.0-r1. I _think_ this worked in kontact
4.4.6 with KDE 4.5.2 and Qt 4.6.3, but I am not 100% sure.

Workaround: I modified the icon size manually by changing the value for
SidePaneIconSize from 48 to 32 in ~/.kde4/share/config/kontactrc.
