[Bug 254406] akonadi 4.5 beta: imap processes very slow (compared to evolution)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254406 Kiril Vladimiroff v.ki...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||v.ki...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from Kiril Vladimiroff v kiril gmail com 2010-12-27 23:58:07 --- (In reply to comment #1) [Comment from a bug triager] akonadi and kmail in 4.6 will be much, much better than in 4.5. I used to have the same problems as you, and now with the 4.6 beta 2 kmail keeps the same speed (and memory) as the first day. There is only a slowdown the first time you use kmail to open a folder, but once it is locally cached, it flies. Yeah, but sometimes(with offline enabled) when try to open some folder it does not show old messages until the sync is done. So I have to wait minutes before I can check one single message from more than a week in one simple folder. For much less time I could simply open gmail.com and check it... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Bug 261420] New: KMail2: Endless receiving folder contents, instead of showing current contents
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261420 Summary: KMail2: Endless receiving folder contents, instead of showing current contents Product: kmail Version: SVN trunk (KDE 4) Platform: Archlinux Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: IMAP AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: v.ki...@gmail.com Version: SVN trunk (KDE 4) (using KDE 4.5.90) OS:Linux I use KMail2 with my GMail account throught IMAP connection with disconnected mode enabled. When I try to check the Inbox folder(for example), most of the times I can't see the message list of all downloaded by now messages, until the current sync is not over. This is quite annoying. I think is going to be much better if I receive my currently downloaded list with the option of reading my currently downloaded mails, instead of waiting one simple sync. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 0. Add a IMAP account with lots of folders and email on it 1. Wait (a lot) until kmail sync them all 2. On the next boot try to read some email in some folder Actual Results: Most of the times you get some Loading folder contents and can't access your already downloaded messages Expected Results: There should be listed the downloaded messages with some little notifications that more are being downloaded. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 224030] distinguish between country code, regional code, phone no and phone-extension
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=224030 wuertz k...@wuertz.org changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@wuertz.org --- Comment #3 from wuertz kde wuertz org 2010-12-28 00:50:01 --- In fact the problem is not trivial, because not all country codes have the same length. For example Germany has +41 and the US had +1 and Ethiopia has +251. Another problem is, that the countries have different number lengths. That means we can not use the same format for all countries. However I have written a small patch that solves these problems. The patch is not finish yet but it is still working. In the attachment you can find this first version. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
