https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=267535 Summary: Edit contact details dialog should not be modal Product: kontact Version: 4.6 beta4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: kdeb...@gmx.de Version: 4.6 beta4 (using KDE 4.6.0) OS:Linux Use case: A friend sends me an email Hey, I've moved. My new address is ... Currently there's no way (short of running kmail and kaddressbook separately) to keep the mail open and copy/paste the new address to the Edit contact details dialog. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Read email in kontact's kmail part 2. Switch from kmail part to kaddressbook part 3. Select contact to edit Actual Results: The Edit contact details dialog goes modal, preventing me to copy the address from the email Expected Results: I can switch from the kaddressbook part to the kmail part and copy the address from the email To me, this seems like a very common use case, so I'd very much like to see it resolved. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 169048] Crashes when applying all filters on IMAP folder [KMail::ActionScheduler::actionMessage, KMail::ActionScheduler::filterMessage]
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169048 --- Comment #53 from Chris crglasoe gmail com 2011-03-03 20:14:20 --- Created an attachment (id=57652) -- (http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=57652) New crash information added by DrKonqi kontact (4.4.10) on KDE Platform 4.5.5 (KDE 4.5.5) release 1 using Qt 4.6.3 - What I was doing when the application crashed: I was out of the office. When I returned I had this crash report. So although this crash seems to be related to IMAP filtering I wasn't doing any filtering. The filtering that should occur when email comes in does not happen.
