[Bug 269868] New: Optionally hide [foobar] tags in mailing list subjects

2011-04-01 Thread Michael Schuerig
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269868

Summary: Optionally hide [foobar] tags in mailing list subjects
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: UI
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: mich...@schuerig.de

Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS:Linux

In recent years, a lot of mailing lists have added name tags to the subject
header, something like [foobar-users]. For messages sorted into folders
corresponding to their mailing lists, these tags just consume space in the
message list, but add no useful information.

I'd like to have an option that hides the tags in the display.

I know it is already possible to write filters for rewriting headers, however,
for IMAP accounts this involves downloading and uploading each message.

Reproducible: Didn't try

My workaround was to remove the IMAP account from Akonadi and then re-add it.

That seems to work. The question though is, what's different with the new
account that makes it work.

I have found out, that problem is in Return-Path field. In major part of
folders downloaded letters start with Return-Path as a first string. In this
folder letters placed without this field. I ran simple script added Return-Path
(place there email from From: field) and it become work. Can't understand,
why. The same letters, been moved to another folder, are visible without such
modification.

The same happens when trying to add a new mail account. Checking store IMAP
password results in a popup saying that KWallet is not available when kwalletd
is clearly running and the wallet manager runs fine.

[Bug 269910] New: Akonadi crashes continuously after trying to delete a large number of IMAP emails

2011-04-01 Thread dawan
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269910

Summary: Akonadi crashes continuously after trying to delete a
large number of IMAP emails
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
AssignedTo: er...@kde.org
ReportedBy: da...@melix.net
CC: vkra...@kde.org, kdepim-bugs@kde.org

Application: akonadi_imap_resource (0.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.6.1 (4.6.1) (Compiled from sources)
Qt Version: 4.7.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.37-gentoo-r1-dawierosque x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Gentoo Packages

-- Information about the crash:
Akonadi had been running fine for a few weeks, and the imap component for a few
days; then I selected more than 700 messages and deleted them. They started
disappearing slowly (as usual since kmail2, perhaps 10 per second), and halfway
through, while I wasn't doing anything else involving akonadi, akonadi's imap
resource crashed. Since then, each time I close the crash notification, another
one pops out, until I stop akonadi. Same thing if I restart KDE.

akonadi_nepomuk_contact_feeder (0.1) on KDE Platform 4.6.1 (4.6.1) using Qt
4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:I started to launch kmail
without akonadi. First kmail crashed, then some akonadi related services
crashed. Most often akonadi_nepomuk_contact_feeder.

[Bug 269915] New: Missing support for inetOrgPerson's homePostalAddress; showing incorrect home address

2011-04-01 Thread Jonathan Rushdoony
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269915

   Summary: Missing support for inetOrgPerson's homePostalAddress;
 showing incorrect home address
   Product: kaddressbook
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: ldap search
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: wev...@verizon.net
CC: to...@kde.org

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS:Linux

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Use LDAP server as address book with inetOrgPerson as schema

Actual Results:
1. Kaddressbook ignores homePostalAddress in inetOrgPerson.
2. Kaddressbook incorrectly treats inetOrgPerson's street, l, st, postalcode as
Home address fields.

Expected Results:
1. Kaddressbook should recognize homePostalAddress as home address.
2. Kaddressbook should recognize street, l, st, postalcode as Business address.

[Bug 269916] New: Obsolete(?) Facebook Akonadi resource in svn

2011-04-01 Thread Christoph Feck
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269916

Summary: Obsolete(?) Facebook Akonadi resource in svn
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Facebook Resource
AssignedTo: mcgu...@kde.org
ReportedBy: christ...@maxiom.de
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS:Linux

When building trunk/master, the following files are installed twice:

-- Installing: /local/kde4/lib/libkfacebook.so
-- Installing: /local/kde4/share/akonadi/agents/facebookresource.desktop
-- Installing: /local/kde4/bin/akonadi_facebook_resource

I guess the one in svn/kde/trunk/playground/pim/kfacebook/akonadi is obsolete
and can be removed.

Reproducible: Didn't try
