It must be somewhere else as it also installs as a separate package. If someone can find the sourcecode for me, I MIGHT give it a try. It will need new prefs and a new UI to manually set the URL (so it can be set to secondary calendars) All the rest can probably stay as it is, so should not be too complicated. Pressing F5 on any folder from this IMAP server or using Ctrl+L or any method of synchronisation results in absolutely nothing happening. This includes using Akonadi Console (RMB Synchronize Synchronize All). The only solution to getting synchronisation back is to use the Akonadi Console, right click on the agent and select Restart Agent. Sometimes, it requires restarting more than once. This could be related to the KWallet password caching, but I have not been able to determine if this is connected to the wallet closing. I have changed my KWallet settings before to see if it made a difference and I could not make it work. I should also point out that the Exchange Server IMAP is notorious for being broken. It disconnects the IDLE connection far too soon (simply drops the connection, with no IMAP commands) and it sometimes replies with BAD at unexpected times. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure that the agent is synchronising with Exchange 2. Wait some time (an hour or so, maybe more, maybe less, no clue what the real reason is) 3. Synchronise again (Ctrl+L, F5, Akonadi Console) Actual Results: *NOTHING* happens. No synchronisation is done. No IMAP traffic happens -- the agent is disconnected from the server (no TCP/IP connection established) and it doesn't try to connect. Expected Results: The agent should reconnect to the server and synchronise. Note that the same folder that was skipped is almost always reachable with the opposite direction. To be sure I have read all my email, I have to cycle all the way with Ctrl+Plus, then repeat with Ctrl+Minus. This does not happen to all folders. I have no clue what causes a folder to have this behaviour. However, once this behaviour is set, it happens every time to that particular folder, in a given direction. Restarting KMail does not help. This setting is permanent. The setting Act on unread/new email on this folder in the folder's properties is active. Toggling that setting on and off does not help. The only way I've seen to make the folder be reachable again is to delete it and recreate. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to one folder 2. First off, I have installed Akonadi 1.5.2. I don't see this version at the
Application Version menu.
I have updated KDE to 4.6.2 on my Archlinux x86.
When I start KMail (1.13.6) I get this message in a pop up:
Databse driver not found
Details:
The QtSQL driver 'QMYSQL' is required by your current Akonadi server
configuration.
The following drivers are installed: QSQLITE, QSQLITE3, QODBC3, QODBC, QPSQL7,
QPSQL.
Make sure the required driver is installed.

Considering that I have compiled Qt-4.7.2 by myself using an oficial
Archlinux's PKGBUILD with a little changes (PKGBUILD attached), I have paid
attention to this:
If you compile Qt4 yourself, make sure to tell the configure script to build in
MySQL support by passing it the following option:
-plugin-sql-mysql
But if you see the PKGBUILD it has the flag:
-plugin-sql-{psql,mysql,sqlite,odbc}
I guess as that flag enabled the QtSQL driver on my system.
Also, the same web page says:
The driver you need is libqsqlmysql.so
So, I ran a command to see if that file exists on my system:
$ pacman -Ql | grep libqsqlmysql.so
qt /usr/lib/qt/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlmysql.so
As you see the file is on my system and it is provided by the package qt.
I tried to stop Akonadi from a terminal:
$ akonadictl stop
Akonadi is not running.
So, I tried to start Akonadi:

I wondered why my trash folder accumulated a lot of messages although I had specify to remove messages finally after 60 days. So I moved all messages from the trash folder to a new folder and applied the same settings for expiration. Old messages where not deleted (as expected) but moved back to the trash folder. This is on a mixedmaildir resource. Further, after that action I can see something like an endless loop in the status bar telling x messages of totally y messages processed (free translation from German, both x and y vary with every message). Additionally, after that action Kontact doesn't mark any messages in a parallel imap resource as read. It also responds very slowly until a restart. Actually, in this state it's no longer usable due to these limitations.
