[Bug 261559] KMail stopped recognizing KWallet for password for specific SMTP server
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261559 --- Comment #9 from Alexander van Loon a vanloon alexandervanloon nl 2011-05-20 11:41:53 --- When I created a new account this problem turned up again, but with a twist. When I entered the password for the SMTP server of the new account KMail complained that it could not use KWallet for the password, and offered that it would store the password itself. Then, when I opened Kontact again the next day or so, KWallet somehow was available to KMail again and it offered to migrate the stored password to KWallet. I did so and then everything was fine. Unfortunately I can't give screenshots or exact messages describing what happened, it happened a few days ago and I didn't document what happened exactly. This happened with KMail 4.6 beta 5 on KDE 4.6.2. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 273714] New: message list of e-mails has certain months/weeks expanded unnecessarily
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=273714 Summary: message list of e-mails has certain months/weeks expanded unnecessarily Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: message list AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: a.vanl...@alexandervanloon.nl Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2) OS:Linux I'm using KMail 4.6 beta 5. I've been testing the beta's daily for months, and for all this time I've seen that the message list on my accounts is at certain places expanded unnecessarily by default. For example, on my IMAP account #1 (all of my account are IMAP) the month October 2010 is expanded, even if there are no messages there which are unread or flagged as important or whatever. I can shrink the month October 2010, but if I open another folder and then change back to IMAP account #1's inbox again, the month October 2010 is expanded again. In the inbox of IMAP account #2 KMail always does it with the months January 2011 and December 2010. The same applies there, in those months there are no unread messages or whatever. Only these three specific folders are affected in the inboxes of those two specific accounts, #1 and #2. Account #1 also has some subfolders, but they are not affected at all. Only the inboxes of #1 and #2, but the inbox of IMAP account #3 is not affected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Don't know. Expected Results: Only expand months/weeks in the past if they have unread (and possibly also marked) messages. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=273755 Summary: When importing a csv-file into Kaddressbook, empty fields are disregarded and data end up in the wrong columns. Product: kaddressbook Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: enge...@sunrise.ch CC: to...@kde.org Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS:Linux Addresses contained in a Libre Office spread sheet are to be imported in Kaddressbook. The table contains empty fields (e.g. no fax number) which appear in the csv file as follows: (= three empty fields separated by commas). The parser disregards the empty fields thus data end up in the wrong columns. This bug has been reported before and is listed as fixed as of version 4.6, however, it seems it is not. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Save LibreOffice-calc table (.ods) as text-csv (save as). Go to applications menu, open Kaddressbook, select addressbook, import csv-file. Actual Results: Parser wsindows opens and shows data in wrong columns, i.e. field contents are moved to the left when there are empty fields to the left of the field with content. Cancelled procedure. Expected Results: Show each field as in the original table. No menu has appeared, the application has crashed. -- Backtrace: Application: Kontact (kontact), signal: Segmentation fault [KCrash Handler] #5 0x7fafdf0b89bf in Akregator::Article::title (this=value optimized out) at ../../../akregator/src/article.cpp:375 #6 0x7fafdf0c3f7a in Akregator::ArticleModel::Private::Private (this=0x130bce0, articles_=value optimized out, qq=value optimized out) at ../../../akregator/src/articlemodel.cpp:76 #7 0x7fafdf0c40aa in Akregator::ArticleModel::ArticleModel (this=0x310a210, articles=..., parent=value optimized out) at ../../../akregator/src/articlemodel.cpp:79 #8 0x7fafdf0e1a27 in Akregator::SelectionController::articleHeadersAvailable (this=0x268d750, job=value optimized out) at ../../../akregator/src/selectioncontroller.cpp:212 #9 0x7fafdf0e1e1c in Akregator::SelectionController::qt_metacall (this=0x268d750, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=value optimized out, _a=0x7fffc2b142b0) at ./selectioncontroller.moc:92 #10 0x7fb00075c18f in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x2f52cc0, m=value optimized out, local_signal_index=value optimized out, argv=0x7fffc2b142b0) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3278 #11 0x7fb000b83e2f in KJob::finished (this=value optimized out, _t1=0x2f52cc0) at ./kjob.moc:173 #12 0x7fb000b84005 in KJob::emitResult (this=0x2f52cc0) at ../../kdecore/jobs/kjob.cpp:310 #13 0x7fafdf0bde46 in Akregator::ArticleListJob::doList (this=0x2f52cc0) at ../../../akregator/src/articlejobs.cpp:190 #14 0x7fafdf0bdf50 in Akregator::ArticleListJob::qt_metacall (this=0x2f52cc0, _c=QMetaObject::InvokeMetaMethod, _id=value optimized out, _a=value optimized out) at ./articlejobs.moc:239 #15 0x7fb00075c18f in QMetaObject::activate (sender=0x30faa80, m=value optimized out, local_signal_index=value optimized out, argv=0x0) at kernel/qobject.cpp:3278 #16 0x7fb000761faf in QSingleShotTimer::timerEvent (this=0x30faa80) at kernel/qtimer.cpp:308 #17 0x7fb00075ad19 in QObject::event (this=0x30faa80, e=value optimized out) at kernel/qobject.cpp:1181 #18 0x7fafffae7d14 in QApplicationPrivate::notify_helper (this=0x12953a0, receiver=0x30faa80, e=0x7fffc2b14b20) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4462 #19 0x7fafffaec8da in QApplication::notify (this=value optimized out, receiver=0x30faa80, e=0x7fffc2b14b20) at kernel/qapplication.cpp:4341 #20 0x7fb0011214c6 in KApplication::notify (this=0x7fffc2b168b0, receiver=0x30faa80, event=0x7fffc2b14b20) at ../../kdeui/kernel/kapplication.cpp:302 #21 0x7fb000746c8c in QCoreApplication::notifyInternal (this=0x7fffc2b168b0, receiver=0x30faa80, event=0x7fffc2b14b20) at kernel/qcoreapplication.cpp:731 #22 0x7fb0007748ce in sendEvent (this=0x129edf0) at ../../include/QtCore/../../src/corelib/kernel/qcoreapplication.h:215 #23 QTimerInfoList::activateTimers (this=0x129edf0) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_unix.cpp:604 #24 0x7fb0007716b8 in timerSourceDispatch (source=value optimized out) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:184 #25 idleTimerSourceDispatch (source=value optimized out) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:231 #26 0x7faff83c54a3 in g_main_context_dispatch () from /lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #27 0x7faff83c5c80 in ??
