I've tested it again. It's really strange some mails go to the 'Local

the criteria when it is moved to the local one.

lockfile/Procmail. Postlock also generated a .lock file.

I'm using the groupdav akonadi resource to access the google account which has
access to the calendar I want to use. Kontact finds my own calender which I
can also edit in KOrganizer :-). But how do I find (or at least enter) the
Group Calendar, which was created and shared by somebody else (in the Google
web interface it says I can only display but not edit the calendar, adding
events is possible).

OK, managed to get another associated calender into kontact. As has been
written you must do that manually for now, unfortunately. But here's how:

- Add a new DaviCal ressource to Akonadi. Do NOT enter Hostname or so but press
cancel.
- Then you can edit the details. Choose CalDav, your google username and
password but in the remote URL do not enter the well-known URL to your own
calendar but replace your email adress with the group id of the shared
calendar. Then the URL looks like
https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/longstr...@group.calendar.google.com/user/.
- You can get this LONGSTRING by looking into the calendar details in the
google web interface.

This needs to be fixed so that users can migrate their addressbooks properly.

I have the same issue with KMail 2.1.0 (KDE 4.6.4 on Gentoo/Linux).

This is very irritating especially since it can happen also while in the middle
of a dragdrop, moving the destination folder out of view. Also, it always (or
almost) happen after the dragdrop is completed.
There is an option which sounds like it should prevent this from happening
(right-clicking on the name label, there is a Sort items section). But that
does not work: even after selecting Manually, I couldn't change the order of
the main folders by dragdrop and the order kept changing on each update of...
something KMail knows but I don't.
Plus, that setting (as the folder icons too) is forgotten on the next restart.
But this is probably worth another bug about forgotten settings.

Confirming on KMail 2.1.0 (KDE 4.6.4, Gentoo) too.
Note that on akonadiconsole the same feature is enabled (i.e. it is possible to
create such top-level directories).

Should I mention that (at least in my box, KMail 2.1.0, KDE 4.6.4, Gentoo)
those folders don't accept dragdrop, nor their icon settings are saved? And
that their order is as wild as the one in the folders view?

Sorry, indeed bug reporting is disabled for kmail (version 1.x). Bugs will not
get fixed for that version, since all development has moved to kmail2. If
possible, please check if the bug also appears in kmail2, and report for that
version.

As for the more information, I am not sure if bugzilla can provide such
additional information when products/components are disabled.

[Bug 277246] New: Messages are not really being marked as read in KMail.

2011-07-06 Thread maxtor11111
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277246

Summary: Messages are not really being marked as read in KMail.
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 4.7
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
AssignedTo: er...@kde.org
ReportedBy: maxtor11...@gmail.com

Version: 4.7 (using Devel)
OS:Linux

KMail 2.0.95 (also reproduceable on 4.4.11.1), Akonadi 1.5.80, KDE 4.7 RC1.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Use Yandex.Mail over IMAP.

Actual Results:
KMail 2.x: When clicking on unread letter, it's marked as readed. But if I'm
updating a folder (using folder's context menu), this letter becomes unread.
KMail 1.x: When clicking on unread letter, this message appears
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1830526/kmail.png

Expected Results:
After folder update, a letter should remain marked as readed.

Sniffed data.
KMail, problem appears:

I've just been able to reproduce it with kdepim e2e2b0a.

- Select the bugzilla mail about this very report.
- Type 'm' to open the Move To dialog.
- Type something ('trash'), for example.
- Click the Cancel button.
- Type 'm' again.
- Typing 'trash' does not do anything.

[Bug 277256] New: Crash while filtering IMAP e-mails

2011-07-06 Thread Hamlet
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277256

Summary: Crash while filtering IMAP e-mails
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 2.1.0
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: _ham...@libero.it

Application: kmail (2.1.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.6.4 (4.6.4) (Compiled from sources)
Qt Version: 4.7.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.37-tuxonice x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Gentoo Packages

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was doing nothing particular.
KMail performed the periodic mail check on an IMAP box, found ~100 new mails
which are all of the same kind. The filtering started and (while the favorite
folders and the folder views were wildly dancing) the mails were being moved in
an off-line, local folder.
At a certain point it crashed. The filter works correctly (actually it stood a
similar load of e-mails before).
