soprano-daemon 2.7.0+dfsg.1-0ubuntu2

That may be the problem. The current version is 2.7.3, which is the version
recommended for KDE 4.7.3. There have apparently been major improvements from
2.7.0 to 2.7.3, including performance and indexing improvements. You should
probably see if you can get the kubuntu devs to upgrade to the current version.

[Bug 286364] New: Filtering on "List-Post" header does not work on IMAP for new mails.

2011-11-11 Thread Thomas Zell
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286364

Summary: Filtering on "List-Post" header does not work on IMAP
for new mails.
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.7
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: filtering
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: t.z...@gmx.de

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS:Linux

A filter on the "List-Post" header never matches for incoming e-mails on IMAP
accounts.

Manually applying the same filter works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Set up filter for "List-Post" header
2) receive new mail

Actual Results:
Filter never matches.

Expected Results:
Filter matches on mails with corresponding List-Post header.

Excerpt from the filter log:
[21:12:10] Evaluating filter rules: (match any of the following) "List-Post"
 "mailto:bug-cont...@bugs.kde.org";
[21:12:10] 0 = "List-Post" "mailto:bug-cont...@bugs.kde.org"; ()

apparently the header is regarded as empty.

Later applying the same filter manually on the same mail gives:
[21:14:33] Evaluating filter rules: (match any of the following) "List-Post"
 "mailto:bug-cont...@bugs.kde.org";
[21:14:33] 1 = "List-Post"  "mailto:bug-cont...@bugs.kde.org";
()
[21:14:33] Filter rules have matched.

2011-11-11 Thread Marco Clemencic
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=285676

--- Comment #8 from Marco Clemencic 2011-11-11

I managed to recover my outbox folder.

What probably happened is that the Akonadi database and the maildir directory
got desynchronized after a crash of the system (I have troubles with the
suspend).

In this situation the akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource seems to get stuck trying
to synchronize.

To recover the outbox I had to remove the files that were in the 'new'
directory and remove the pim items from the database by hand.

If I manage to reproduce the problem in a simple case I'll post it here.

Cheers
Marco

Same for me.

KMail is unusable: my the outbox folder is stuck because of that, so I have to
use another mail client to be able to send emails.

[Bug 286304] wish: 'delete message' action

2011-11-11 Thread Christophe Giboudeaux

--- Comment #3 from Christophe Giboudeaux 2011-11-11

sorry but ctrl-del is useless and not the wanted behaviour:

1- I manually mark as spam,
2- the message is piped to train bogofilter/spamassassin/whatever
3- the message is deleted. Moving it to a trash folder or any subdir is a
useless operation.

what is wanted is only a filter action.

Sorry for commenting such old ticket, but this just happened here.

I have a Linux and might be some updates causing internal API/ABI not matching
and causing such problems. So I guess not a real problem. Just leaving a note
for others who happens to search information about this problem.

[Bug 286320] New: Message status corrupted when jump to first unread set

2011-11-11 Thread Árpi
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286320

Summary: Message status corrupted when jump to first unread set
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.7
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: lukacs.ar...@gmail.com

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS:Linux

If I set KMail to jump to the first unread message in a folder (Configure
KMail->Misc->Folders->When entering a folder), and leave KMail in the Inbox
(leave a message in the Inbox selected), when new messages are downloaded
automatically, they are first jumped to, then marked read, and filters are only
applied after that.
If messages are moved to another folder automatically (by filters), one will
not notice new messages because of this behaviour.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just set up some filters to sort messages into folders, leave a message in your
Inbox selected, and wait for new mail (for which filter rules apply) to arrive.

Actual Results:
Messages first marked read and then moved to the folder specified by the
filter.

Expected Results:
Messages should be moved to their place by the filter, but they should be left
unread.
