[Bug 304511] New: Akregator and KMail notification icons do not open the correct Kontact components when clicked to restore window (4.8.3)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=304511 Bug ID: 304511 Severity: normal Version: 4.8.3 Priority: NOR Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Summary: Akregator and KMail notification icons do not open the correct Kontact components when clicked to restore window (4.8.3) Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux Reporter: joulupukin.ton...@yandex.ru Hardware: Gentoo Packages Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: general Product: kontact I usually have Kontact running with no window (i.e. I close the window with Alt-F4), the only thing that shows are the icons for Kagregator and Kmail in the notification area. I can click on the icon to restore the window of Kontact. However, whether I click on the KAkgregator or the KMail icon, it does not matter which one I choose, I always get Kontact in the view that was used previously. (Even if it's a view that has nothing to do with Kagregator or Kmail.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make the Kontacts window disappear. 2. Click on the Kagregator icon. (Or on the Kmail icon.) Actual Results: Kontacts opens but ignores which icon I clicked. Expected Results: Kontact should open to the view of Kagregator (or KMail), depending on what I clicked. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Bug 304518] New: Suggestion. Kmail notification icon to show count of messages in favourite folders only
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=304518 Bug ID: 304518 Severity: wishlist Version: 4.8.3 Priority: NOR Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Summary: Suggestion. Kmail notification icon to show count of messages in favourite folders only Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux Reporter: joulupukin.ton...@yandex.ru Hardware: Gentoo Packages Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: general Product: kmail2 There is already an option in the KMail configuration (Appearance: System tray) regarding whether to show the KMail icon, and whether to show it only when unread messages. The icon also shows the count of unread messages. Can you add an option to choose whether the count represents unread messages in all folders, or unread folders in only the favourite folders? [Bug 287685] Message list does not reflect folder after using folder filter box.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=287685 --- Comment #5 from Philipp Woelfel woel...@gmx.net --- I'm a bit confused by the original bug report. Here is what happens on my system: If I enter something in the *folder* filter (the one that is by default not turned out, but you can turn it on in the preferences), the *message* list gets corrupted. I.e., after selecting a new folder from the ones that are still visible when the filter is on, the messages that are shown in the message list do not correspond to the selected folder. Sometimes, the message list seems to show a mix of messages from the selected folder and some other folder (the one that was active before I entered something in the filter field). This behavior does not change even once I clear the filter. The only way to get back to a normal behavior is by restarting kmail2. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

When searching for them by nickname, initially they do not appear: however, after searching for them through their display name/E-mail address, and having them successfully appear as an auto-complete suggestion, searching for them by nickname successfully suggests them for auto-completion.
