2012-10-07 Thread Graeme Hewson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308001

Bug ID: 308001
  Severity: crash
   Version: 4.9.2
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Crash when selecting Edit Recent Contacts
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: b...@wormhole.me.uk
  Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: general
   Product: kontact

Application: kontact (4.9.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.9.2
Qt Version: 4.8.2
Operating System: Linux 3.2.0-31-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

1. In new mail composer, entered a few characters in the To: field, so that
kmail showed a list of recent contacts.

2. Backspaced to clear the To: field.

3. Secondary-clicked the To: field and selected Edit Recent Contacts option.

That should be Edit Recent Addresses, not Edit Recent Contacts. I was
referring to bug 302314, rather than kmail itself, when writing the report.

[Bug 308008] New: Filtering from checked accounts only not working for POP3 accounts

2012-10-07 Thread Graeme Hewson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308008

Bug ID: 308008
  Severity: normal
   Version: 4.9.2
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Filtering from checked accounts only not working for
POP3 accounts
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: b...@wormhole.me.uk
  Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: filtering
   Product: kmail2

In Filter Rules, Advanded tab, there's a radio button to apply the filter to
incoming messages from checked accounts only. However, the filter is not
applied to any POP3 accounts, only to Local Folders (type maildir).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In Advanced tab of a filter, select Apply this filter to incoming
messages: and from checked accounts only.
2. Select a POP3 account. Unselect all other accounts, including Local Folders.
3. Test filter while viewing filter log.
Actual Results:
Filter isn't applied.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I have several POP3 accounts. I have no IMAP
accounts. The Local Folders account was created automatically when I installed
kmail; the folder is the default ~/.local/share/local-mail. I also have another
maildir account using my subdirectory in /var/spool/maildir.

[Bug 285802] kmail - no filters are applied on incomming messages

2012-10-07 Thread Graeme Hewson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=285802

--- Comment #13 from Graeme Hewson b...@wormhole.me.uk ---
Update to my comment 6: filtering works for me when the default from all
accounts is selected only because filtering is only being applied to the Local
Folders maildir account. I've opened bug 308008 for this.

[Bug 295011] bad process by filter on sent messages

2012-10-07 Thread Graeme Hewson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295011

--- Comment #2 from Graeme Hewson b...@wormhole.me.uk ---
This is now working for me in 4.9.2 with Apply this filter to sent messages;
the message is correctly moved to the specified folder.

However, if Apply this filter before sending messages is ticked, whether or
not Apply this filter to sent messages is also ticked, the sent message is
moved to the sent-mail folder. Before then, just after pressing Ctrl+Enter in
the composer window, the folder list shows the message being moved to the
folder specified in the filter, but only briefly.

The filter log says:
Applying filter action: Move Into Folder akonadi-local/Test
for both before and after conditions.

[Bug 308015] New: Filter Log Viewer checkbox fields are too wide

2012-10-07 Thread Graeme Hewson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308015

Bug ID: 308015
  Severity: normal
   Version: 4.9.2
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Filter Log Viewer checkbox fields are too wide
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: b...@wormhole.me.uk
  Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: filtering
   Product: kmail2

In the Filter Log Viewer, the checkbox fields (Log filter activities and the
four under Logging Details) extend across the width of the window. This makes
it too easy to accidentally change a checkbox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up filter logging.
2. Click on main kmail window to get focus, leaving right hand side of the
filter log viewer window showing underneath.
3. Do testing of filtering.
4. Click on right hand side of filter log viewer to get focus.
5. Continue testing.
6. Realise that a checkbox was accidentally changed in step 4.

Expected Results:
It should not be possible to change a checkbox by clicking on the right of the
window.

(In reply to comment #28)
One of the secondary effects is SPAM, filters doesn't work as expect (And
using spam wizard). With some pop3 accounts. What logs do you want ? .
Shouldn't be hard to replicate since, many people report it.

Hi, SPAM filters seems (now) works as they should , so maybe you could close
the bug with close with Current release 4.9.2

I have update
http://userbase.kde.org/Akonadi_4.4/Troubleshooting#Kmail2_reset_nepomuk_and_akonadi_system
(not finish yet)

After a reset seems things are working more or less ...

[Bug 306814] Open with dialog appears when clicking open with application_name

2012-10-07 Thread Avihay
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306814

--- Comment #2 from Avihay k...@avihay.baratz.org ---
I guess I can, every entry here:
http://www.animebit.net/feed
hit either of the two links after the text Enclosure: and before the text
(application/x-bittorrent, 12 B)
Happens in other places too, but I can't recall one right now.

Committed on 07/10/2012 at 23:34.
Pushed by winterz into branch 'master'.

Remove the ... (elipsis) from the end of the window captions.
Window captions shouldn't trail with elipsis.

Also give the window an icon. part of the fix for bug 306965

--- Comment #8 from Markus S. kamika...@web.de ---
(In reply to comment #7)
We need an icon for DAV groupware -- anyone have ideas of an icon we can use
 for DAV?

Personally I have no problem with the current folder-remote icon, although
resource-group or resource-calendar-child could work as well.

Oh, and btw: Maybe change the Birthday resource's current cookie icon to
view-calendar-birthday.

Could you also please backport the changes to 4.9? (Excluding the string
changes,of course.)
