[Bug 307807] Insane abuse of nepomuk causes power abuse and makes the system unusable
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307807 --- Comment #12 from Anders Lund --- More apsects of this horror, now running KDE 4.9.3: * Often, starting kmail takes > 30 seconds, during which time the virtuoso-t is hammering my poor system. * When I ask kmail for the "configure filters..." dialog, instead of showing it, it starts a what feels like an infinite virtuoso-t madness session. Sometimes I am lucky that the dialog appears before I get tired and kill kmail (> 1 minute, I really try to be patient...) Of course these does not happen with nepomuk entirely disabled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 308480] vCards get imported/exported with incorrect Photo Format Type
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308480 Thomas Tanghus changed: What|Removed |Added CC||tho...@tanghus.net --- Comment #5 from Thomas Tanghus --- (In reply to comment #0) > When adding images to the contact resource in akonadi (via KAddressBook) the > Photo Format Type in the PHOTO tag is set incorrectly. It uses a mime type > representation ("image/jpeg" or "image/png"). > For example: PHOTO;ENCODING=b;TYPE=image/jpeg:/9j/4AAQSkZJR... > Correct would be: PHOTO;ENCODING=b;TYPE=JPEG:/9j/4AAQSkZJR... Dang, I had misread the rfc there. That is perhaps the reason for the the bug reports where I blamed the SoGo connector in connection with ownCloud. KDEPIM/Android/N900/N9(50) reads the profile pictures just fine with the full mimetype, so I automatically blamed Evolution/Thunderbird/Sogo :-P -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 305662] Messages are kept unread even after marking them as read.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=305662 --- Comment #3 from Ondrej Konecny --- When I telnet the server, it reports as Dovecot. I am unable to determine its version because the server is not under my administration. The version of the Dovecot should be either 1.2.17 or 2.1.10 (I found those versions in ports - it runs on FreeBSD 9.1). [Bug 309806] New: selecting unread message on the "filtered for unread messages" message list makes the selected message disappear
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309806 Bug ID: 309806 Severity: normal Version: 4.8.x Priority: NOR Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Summary: selecting unread message on the "filtered for unread messages" message list makes the selected message disappear Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux Reporter: gust...@angulosolido.pt Hardware: Ubuntu Packages Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: mail Product: kontact After we filter the message list to show only unread messages, using the state filter combo box, and we proceed to read the unread messages one by one, we verify that each message we select for reading gets removed from the message list, even though is still visible on the preview pane. As the user decides on what to do with the message (ex: mark as unread) it becomes impossible to operate on the message via message list, since it is not visible anymore. This is in wrong in terms of usability and UI consistency (there is a visual mismatch between the message list and the preview pane when that happens) and a regression from previous Kontact versions. The selected message should stay visible in the message list until the user selects another one, except if the user marked it as unread again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. filter the message list to display only unread messages 2. click on an unread message 3. verify the its entry had disappeared from the message list Actual Results: The message entry disappeared from the message list Expected Results: The message entry should have remained on the message list. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
