This bug appears to be valid in kmail2 4.9.4. I've got multiple mail accounts
(POP3), all with their own inbox folder. I've setup a filter which moves
certain messages from one of the accounts' inbox into a subfolder of the inbox
folder. This filter should trigger on incoming messages, but it fails to do so.
It only works manually on 'apply filter'.

I have the same problem using KMail 4.9.4 and GMail over IMAP.
I don't know why, but in other mail clients IDLE IMAP works fine with GMail

My current workaround is to set the mail checking interval to 15 minutes.
Will this issue been fixed in the next kde release?

Debug packages alone won't help, because this is an exception, which Qt does
not handle. If you can reproduce the crash, start gdb with kmail2, type catch
throw, then run, and if the crash happens, type bt to get the backtrace.

Hi,

Does this problem show up for all events or only for those that were created
from a particular client? I ask because it looks like the events may lack some
information. If possible could you paste (after anonymizing) the content of one
of those events?
