2012-12-19 Thread kenneth Nash
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311957

Bug ID: 311957
  Severity: normal
   Version: 4.9.4
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: apply filter to remove messages from inbox and they
are put back. I don't have keep messages selected.
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: ksn...@cox.net
  Hardware: Fedora RPMs
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: commands and actions
   Product: kmail2

I want to clear out my inbox of messages. I want to save some of the messages
in different folder. I have turned off save message on server so all mail
should be downloaded. I made a filter to move messages to another folder. I
applied filter and all messages were in separate folder under inbox. I look
through inbox and the messages pop back into inbox. It has done it with
control j. with apply filter singular and apply filter to folder. the messages
are still in the other folder too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.make filter
2.apply filter
3.watch message pop back
Actual Results:
inbox not emptying.

Expected Results:
messages moved to folder under inbox and not downloaded again.

I'm going to note here for anyone that runs into the same variant of this issue
that I did: I got this problem when I already had akonadi installed and
running, and only then installed the package containing the mailfilter agent
(kdepim-kmail in ArchLinux). I had to run "akonadictl restart" to get Akonadi
to pick up the mailfilter agent.

[Bug 292601] Fetch job error on login

2012-12-19 Thread Jarosław Staniek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=292601

Sometimes this is related to akonadi after OS upgrade (in my Case openSUSE
12.1->12.2). Easy fix is to remove the cache i.e. $HOME/.local/share/akonadi.
Whether it is safe removal for you - see the notes from
http://blogs.kde.org/node/4503.

Perhaps the product in this bug could be changed to akonadi or it is
distribution related (but reported issues come both from openSUSE and Kubuntu).
Or my case is only similar to the reporter's case.
