[kmail2] [Bug 312960] New: Sieve script manager inside Kmail2 mingles editing and activating scripts.

2013-01-09 Thread Christian Reiner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312960

Bug ID: 312960
Summary: Sieve script manager inside Kmail2 mingles editing and
activating scripts.
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.9.5
  Hardware: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: sieve
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: f...@christian-reiner.info

Kmail2 offers an integrated sieve script manager. It works fine, though it is a
little 'raw'... One thing that really needs to be changed:
'Activating' and 'editing' a script are logically two completely independent
things. Yet the manager mingles both: it is impossible to simply edit a script
without activating it as the default script. That makes little sense and is not
neccessary.

Instead of the current solution I suggest to separate both aspects:
- highlighting an entry (a script) should only select it to be able to run one
of the actions offered below. The activation of a script (setting it as
'default' on the server side) should be completely separate. There is
absolutely no reason to connect both aspects.
- selecting one of the radio buttons in from of the entries should trigger that
second aspect.

Certainly even now it is possible to get your scripts configured and sorted
out. But looking closer the current solution forces periods where scripts are
active (selected as default) that are not meant to. What for?

Reproducible: Always

Bug ID: 312954
Summary: Save Attachments also saves S/MIME signature
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: Git (master)
  Hardware: Compiled Sources
OS: Linux
Status: CONFIRMED

Save Attachments in the reader window saves the smime.p7s signature file too.
No need to save that.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Receive an S/MIME signed message with at least 1 attachment
2. In the reader, select "Save Attachments"
3. save somewhere

Actual Results:
notice that a smime.p7s file is also saved

Expected Results:
no need to save smime.p7s file

not saved smime.p7s

[akregator] [Bug 310132] Back/Forward buttons are greyed out when browsing in Akregator

2013-01-09 Thread Paul
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310132

Yes, I use WebKit.
And when I switched to KHTML, Akregator started following links which appear on
the tabbed page in my default browser (Chromium). I don't know if this
behaviour is a bug or not.
Current bug should probably be marked as a dup then.

[kleopatra] [Bug 312940] New: Suspect: Type mismatch error in change_trust_file function, subject 'ST' is displayed as 'SP'

2013-01-09 Thread Martin
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312940

Bug ID: 312940
Summary: Suspect: Type mismatch error in change_trust_file
function, subject 'ST' is displayed as 'SP'
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kleopatra
   Version: 2.1.1
  Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: dresc...@snafu.de
CC: m...@kde.org

Kleopatra refuses to trust CA certificate caused by:
---
9235E2318411ABFE7D14B7BA3F7075FD7D4D6B34 ->
92:35:E2:31:84:11:AB:FE:7D:14:B7:BA:3F:70:75:FD:7D:4D:6B:34
QString change_trust_file(const QString&, const QString&,
GpgME::Key::OwnerTrust): 9235E2318411ABFE7D14B7BA3F7075FD7D4D6B34 !=
23:A4:87:CF:FC:01:ED:00:89:F5:39:E3:54:1B:CB:FC:44:93:1C:61 !=
92:35:E2:31:84:11:AB:FE:7D:14:B7:BA:3F:70:75:FD:7D:4D:6B:34
QString change_trust_file(const QString&, const QString&,
GpgME::Key::OwnerTrust): line "" does not match
[...]
---
Inspecting the certificate with Kleopatra shows 'Issuer:
CN=ROOT_CA_DBS_Integration,O=Volkswagen,L=Wolfsburg,ST=Niedersachsen,C=DE' and
'Subject:
CN=ROOT_CA_DBS_Integration,L=Wolfsburg,SP=Niedersachsen,O=Volkswagen,C=DE'.

But the certificate in fact is 'Issuer: C=DE, ST=Niedersachsen, L=Wolfsburg,
O=Volkswagen, CN=ROOT_CA_DBS_Integration' and 'Subject: C=DE, ST=Niedersachsen,
L=Wolfsburg, O=Volkswagen, CN=ROOT_CA_DBS_Integration' using openssl.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a (self signed) CA certificate using openSSL with a subject, issuer
like above.
2. Import in Kleopatra.
3. Declare the CA certificate as trusted.

Users are not supposed to change ACLs of folders, therefore it's not accessible
from anywhere else. I suppose there was a problem in migration when updating
LibKGAPI and KDE that caused the ACLs not being updated by the Akonadi
Resource.

If you set WebKit as your browser engine then this
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=233734 might be the cause and the
workaround for now is to revert to KHTML. The setting for this is in
Konqueror->Settings->General->Default Browser Engine. I know it is not at all
obvious to look in Konqueror for this, took me a while to find it, too.

[kmail2] [Bug 312935] New: Open newly created contacts directly in edit mode

2013-01-09 Thread public+kde
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312935

Bug ID: 312935
Summary: Open newly created contacts directly in edit mode
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.9.5
  Hardware: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: UI
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: public+...@enkore.de

One can directly create a new contact by right-clicking a email address in a
from or to field (for example) using the "Add to address book" entry of the
context menu. Currently a notification is displayed that the details of the new
contact can be changed using the address book.

This is not really intuitive behavior, the "Edit contact" window should be
automatically displayed when adding a new contact as one almost always wants to
fill in additional information.

Other common email clients such as Thunderbird or *cough* Outlook do this the
same way. Also most webmailers exhibit this behavior.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you Dan, that was the problem. Perhaps the read only status should be
more apparent and should not default to read only. It should also be able to
be changed from within Kontact and not need the Akonadi console to change it.

Looking back over the comments, I see where Yuriy mentions read only. I missed
that before posting.

OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

I have the contact summary show upcoming events, and it seems to sort them by
calendar...
I think the upcoming events piece should sort all events just by time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use more than one calendar
2. make sure they all have more than one event for the same day
3. observe the weird sorting order in kontact summary
Actual Results:
events should simply be sorted by time

Expected Results:
events seem to be sorted by calendar first, and *then* by time

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312089

You can't add a new event, because the calendar is marked as read only (is not
listed in the combobox in incidence editor), or that the changes are not
visible in Google Calendar?

If it's the first, make sure you have restarted Akonadi after the update and in
Akonadi Console -> "Browser", right-click one of the Google calendars, open
"Folder Properties" and check what's in "ACL" tab.

If it's the latter, please open a separate bug report.

The number of scripts a user can maintain in his personal area is controlled by
the configuration option 'sieve_maxscripts' in file /etc/imapd.conf. This is if
you use the cyrus implementation. Maybe your server has a higher limit you
don't reach?
