This is bad (and a regression to kmail1) as one can no longer right-click a parent folder of a matching one to create a new subfolder to that. I implemented the folder-quicksearch field in kmail1 as a quick navigation aid, and in kmail2 I'm now hindered to quickly use the shown folders when some of them are disabled. Please bring the functionality back as in kmail1 and do not disable the folders along the path. It shows old ones that I had when I started using Kmail and they work normally. Doesn't matter if new folders are created with Kmail, webmail or other email client. I can see them in Serverside subscriptions pop up window in Kmail but that's it. Serverside subscriptions is enabled and those folders selected in the menu. I can see created folders in other email clients (webmail, thunderbird) without problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set IMAP account and enable serverside subsctiptions. 2. Create IMAP serverside folder. 3. Check serverside folders list. Actual Results: Created folder cannot be seen. Expected Results: Folder should be visible. I pasted .xsession-errors log in url wield when started Kmail and tried to make a folder. Deleted identical lines to help readability. Tried to make new account with this computer and another one with similar results. This computer has Mint 13 KDE (based on Ubuntu 12.04) and another one has Mint 14 KDE (based on ubuntu 12.10), both have KDE 4.9.5. As a matter of fact, when on contact entry is opened for editing, Kaddressbook becomes gray and it is no longer possible to have access to any other contact entry. Will it be possible to open and edit multiple contact entries in version 4.10? 2. This feature is absolutely necessary for the following reasons: 2.1. Some times it becomes necessary to view more than one contact entry (for example, in order to compare them). 2.2. Some times it becomes necessary to view and copy information from one contact entry for use in creating or editing another contact entry. 2.3. The inability to open and edit multiple contact entries simultaneously makes the use of Kaddressbook much more difficult and much less efficient. 3. The email is moved into the spam folder as setup. The next time I click on the Check Mail, the previous spam email is back in the inbox as a duplicate. One copy is in the allocated spam folder and one is in the inbox. The process can be repeated ENDLESS times. Once the email is deleted from the inbox. It stops. The column header looks like a paper clip. However, this seems to be useless since even the emails with attachment(s) are not marked in the message list, unless you click and preview or open them. Only after that the paper clip icon appears on the message list next to that email. Therefore, there is no quick way to see which emails have attachments from the message list. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Look at the message list 2. No attachment indicator visible unless you preview or open the email. If an email is received from some one that exists in your contact list, and has a picture, it should be displayed on the email header both at the preview window and on the message window if the email is opened. This was reported for kmail 1 (bug 236778), and was reported to be fixed in kmail 2.
