[kmail2] [Bug 293918] kmail2 duplicates some messages

2013-04-02 Thread Graeme Hewson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=293918

--- Comment #11 from Graeme Hewson b...@wormhole.me.uk ---
Filter log shows duplicate message twice, so it seems the duplication happens
before filtering. The timestamp on the filter log was the same for each
message, so it seems the message isn't being fetched twice from the POP3
server. Using 4.10.1.

[kmail2] [Bug 317712] New: does not find file to be attached if more than one consecutive space is in its name

2013-04-02 Thread Wolfgang Rohdewald
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317712

Bug ID: 317712
Summary: does not find file to be attached if more than one
consecutive space is in its name
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.10.1
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: wolfg...@rohdewald.de

this happens only when attaching multiple files together. If one of the files
is named A B with two spaces between A and B, I am getting an error message

Die Datei oder der Ordner /home/wr/Dokumente/G/ggz/done/A%20 B existiert nicht.

Please note that only the first space has been encoded. And of course the error
message should not show spaces in their encoded form.

Reproducible: Always

[Akonadi] [Bug 317709] Add an option to disable Akonadi

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317709

(In reply to comment #0)

 Initially disabling Akonadi is straightforward:
 ~/.config/akonadi/akonadiserverrc StartServer=false.

Note: This statement is completely wrong. StartServer doesn't disable Akonadi.
It tells Akonadi to use an external database.

--- Comment #3 from Woodsman darre...@hushmail.com ---
kdepim* uses akonadi so we can't do it.
So this is non-negotiable? End of discussion?

I also already thought it got fixed, as for a few days it started correctly,
but on this boot it didn't.
Using up to date master, akonadi + rest of the KDE SC stack.

so a couple of your feeds have correctly formatted ISO dates, but those dates
are in the future.
interesting. wonder how that happens

the fix in bug 166724 was for handling improperly formatted ISO dates, which is
not the case here.

I suppose we could say.. if the date is valid and a future date, then use
today's date.

even so.. this is a strange situation.
