Please note that KNotes is unmaintained and also not using Akonadi. Il will
probably be removed from kdepim in the future.

[Akonadi] [Bug 306444] kcalendar-4.8.5 fails to update a calendar resource (ics) when it is changed

2013-05-05 Thread Christian
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306444

Sorry for the delay. Here's the exact message in Finnish. (E...R calendar is
the name of my calendar file.)

E...R calendar file: Tiedosto ”file:///home/ca/Projects/Technical/E...R
calendar.ics” muuttui levyllä. Varotoimenpiteenä varmuuskopio sen aiemmasta
sisällöstä luotiin kohteeseen
”file:///home/ca/.kde4/share/apps/akonadi_ical_resource_1/E...R
calendar.ics-1”.

Literally, it means The file... has been changed on the disk. As a backup, a
safety copy of its earlier contents has been created to the destination ...

Also, note that I'm now on 4.10.2 and the behaviour is still the same. Kontact
was not even running while this notification was given.

[kmail2] [Bug 319357] New: Deleting emails keeps a copy in the original folder

2013-05-05 Thread mayerw
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319357

Bug ID: 319357
Summary: Deleting emails keeps a copy in the original folder
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.10.2
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: commands and actions
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: wolfg...@angela-web.de

If I delete an email from a folder (eg inbox) it does not actually move the
email but copies the entry instead and keep the email in the original folder.
Moving the email to the trash folder has the same effect.
If I move the email to another folder this works correctly

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Delete and email from inbox
2. Move to another folder
3. Move back to inbox
Actual Results:
The email appears in trash and inbox

Expected Results:
the email should be removed from inbox instead

[Akonadi] [Bug 306444] kcalendar-4.8.5 fails to update a calendar resource (ics) when it is changed

2013-05-05 Thread Lasse Liehu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306444

--- Comment #14 from Lasse Liehu lasse.li...@gmail.com ---
Judging from Christian's comment #12, the Finnish message is: Tiedosto ”%1”
muuttui levyllä. Varotoimenpiteenä varmuuskopio sen aiemmasta sisällöstä
luotiin kohteeseen ”%2”.

And the English one is then:
The file '%1' was changed on disk. As a precaution, a backup of its previous
contents has been created at '%2'.

from kdepim-runtime/resources/shared/singlefireresourcebase.cpp (line 230 in
master)

Trying to write to a read-only file: '%1'. comes from
kdepim-runtime/resources/shared/singlefileresource.h (line 168 in master).

(By the way, the same message, only without the full stop, is also in
kdepim-runtime/resources/contacts/contactsresource.cpp at lines 277 and 327 in
master)

[kmail2] [Bug 319369] New: Use adblock for Kmail

2013-05-05 Thread m.wege
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319369

Bug ID: 319369
   Summary: Use adblock for Kmail
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.10.2
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: m.w...@web.de

Just discovered that Thunderbird allows to use adblock. I would love to see it
in Kmail too. Blocking adds and tracking stuff while still being able to have a
look at HTML-mails sounds like a good idea. Since adblock is already part of
KDE used in Konqueror and Rekonq, would it be possile just to actived and
configure it in Kmail too? I am not sure if it is already used in Kmail since I
guess Kmail uses either webkit oder KHTML to display HTML-mails. If so, some
configuration in Kmail would make sense which for example would allow to
temporally deactivate it on per site/sender basis.

Reproducible: Always

[kmail2] [Bug 319375] New: Automatic language selection of dictionary depending on recipients

2013-05-05 Thread Maarten Bezemer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319375

Bug ID: 319375
Summary: Automatic language selection of dictionary depending
on recipients
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: maarten.beze...@gmail.com

I would like to see a new feature that automatically selects the correct
dictionary language depending on the recipient(s) of the email.

I know that it is possible to set a default language for each identity, but
that is not sufficient when one identity is used to send emails in multiple
languages.
I think the language is more dependent on the email recipients instead.

The (default) language could be depending on the address (country) details of
the recipient/contact (if available). Remembering the last used language per
contact could also be a solution I suppose.

Reproducible: Always

I finally solved the problem by installing akonadi console and removing and
re-adding the akonadi nepomuk feeder. It then started indexing automatically. I
had to use akonadi console, was not possible in akonadi configuration.
No idea how this happened.
