There were several problems solved in qt / kleopatra that could relate to this problem. I can not reproduce your Problem. [kmail2] [Bug 319950] New: It takes too long to mark ~10k of unread mails as read in imap folder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319950 Bug ID: 319950 Summary: It takes too long to mark ~10k of unread mails as read in imap folder Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.10.3 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: anars...@gmail.com I have over 10k of unread mails in IMAP folder and I'm trying to mark them as read, but it takes very long time (waited for ~30min, then it said that imap resource crashed, and it's still not finished) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create IMAP account which have over 10k of unread mails 2. Try to mark all mails as read Actual Results: IMAP resource crashes sometimes, it takes too much time to complete the process Expected Results: All mails are marked as read ASAP -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[kmail2] [Bug 319958] New: KMail2 looses messages/empty received message
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319958 Bug ID: 319958 Summary: KMail2 looses messages/empty received message Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.10.2 Platform: Ubuntu Packages URL: http://fire.coldbloodedice.de/upload/kmail2_lost_messa ge.png OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: f...@projectstarfire.de Sometimes a message is just plain empty and lost! (See screenshot, there I tried to open the selected mail.) In the screenshot I tried to open the message, however the corresponding message dialog shows up a completely empty mail. If I close kmail2, the message vanished and has left for heaven ... I think this is connected to a change in my internet connection while kmail2/akonadi tries to download mails. I witnessed this behavior now twice and everytime I had a) either lost the wireless connection or b) I changed the connection settings to use some VPN. Therefore this may be as well be not connected to kmail2 but to akonadi. I'm not sure. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Wait until kmail2/akonadi tries to fetch new mails 2. While fetching mails, disconnect your computer from the internet Actual Results: The message is displayed in the message list, however, the message itself is empty. Expected Results: I want to read my Mails! - I'm using POP3 to fetch mails - I'm using the Use pipelining for faster mail download option. - I did not check Leave fetched messages on the server, therefore at least two messages are no lost forever for me :-( -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
