https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318432 --- Comment #6 from w...@obsidian-studios.com --- This bug needs to be REOPENED, it is NOT a duplicate of bug 318597 which mentions issues with AUTO COMPLETION, not cursor moving when trying to correct an already typed email address. This issue has NOTHING to do with auto completion. You can have an empty address book, and when you type an email, if you need to correct it, you will have issues with the cursor moving. Clearly someone did not read the issue or pay much attention to detail as to the problems being described in each bug. There might be similarities, but issues are quite different and this bug is NOT a duplicate of that one! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail2] [Bug 318597] Autocomplete puts cursor at the end of the completed email making typing emails in difficult
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318597 w...@obsidian-studios.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||w...@obsidian-studios.com --- Comment #4 from w...@obsidian-studios.com --- This is really not the same as 318432 if you read. They are having issues with auto completion, and also the cursor moving. The other bug is about editing existing emails already typed, NOTHING to do with auto completion. Granted the cursor moving could be due to auto completion, but that is NOT what is in bug 318432. Its similar, but NOT an exact duplicate. The problem in 318432 is if you have an email addressed already typed, and you go to correct that, remove the name, etc. after ever character entered the cursor jumps to the end. Thus its similar to the issue described initially in this bug, but they are NOT the same, might be related, but NOT duplicate bugs. Seems someone rather close bugs as duplicates than see they are resolved. Seems this issue effects 2 different things, auto completion as mentioned in this bug, and editing emails already typed as in bug 318432. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
