The previous workrounds (kill -9 akonadiserver) have not worked for me for a
while. However, I have a new workround which appears to be simpler and may
give a hint as to the problem. It is to kill gam_server and all nepomuk
processes. Kill them, and the mail sends instantly. (The processes restart
afterwards.)

I just want to ask again: Can you still reproduce this in a current version of

Well, it warns about the behaviour, and it is easy to circumvent by cancelling
the operation and manually selecting to encrypt the message. So IMHO we have a
low probablity but potentially high impact here...

I can confirm this for a very similar case, in which I am also being asked if I

Examination of the recipient's encryption preferences yielded that you be asked

Encrypt this message?

The same problem (not encrypting to self, mail is stored unencrypted in the

Now with kde 4.10.2 we have in kmail and konsole the possibility to select a
string and right click to search in a search engine. I propose to have this
feature to akregator too, when reading an article

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Read an article in akregator
Select a string
Right click to search in a search engine
Actual Results:
in the context menu in the articles we dont have the possibility to search
using a search engine

Expected Results:
Add in the right click menu the option "search in" to search in a search engine

This feature was added in kmail and konsole in the version 4.10.2

Run akonadiconsole, in tab "DB console" bottom edit box, Enter "show tables".
Check if collectiontable table exist.

It seems your database is corrupted. Could you check if it works if you create
a new KDE user? If it works. You can in DB console, run "show create table
collectiontable;" command. It will generate a database creation command.

Run the command to create the table. My table here is as below. But My akondi

[kmail2] [Bug 320658] New: Custom sieve URLs do not get their passwords saved to KWallet

2013-06-03 Thread Luca Beltrame
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320658

Bug ID: 320658
Summary: Custom sieve URLs do not get their passwords saved to
KWallet
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: Git (master)
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: sieve
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: lbeltr...@kde.org

Due to network policy, I have to use a SSH tunnel to access port 4190 on my
mail server to use sieve scripts. Therefore I set a custom URL in the sieve
configuration dialog: sieve://myusername@localhost:4190.

However, I get prompted for the password at every KMail startup instead of
having it in KWallet, regardless of the state of the "save password" checkbox.
Other KMail passwords are saved to KWallet normally.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set a custom URL in the IMAP server's sieve properties (uncheck "Reuse
configuration...")
2. Select the "Manage sieve scripts" option in the menu and enter the
credentials when prompted.
3. Ensure "save password" is checked
4. Click OK and restart KMail
Actual Results:
The password is not saved to KWallet and therefore the user is prompted every
time.

Expected Results:
The password should be saved to KWallet.
