[kmail2] [Bug 322708] New: kmail should allow encrypting mails with keys of unknown/zero trust
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322708 Bug ID: 322708 Summary: kmail should allow encrypting mails with keys of unknown/zero trust Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: crypto Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: christof.schu...@gmx.com however it doesn't. This is wrong because encryption is meant to provide confidentiality and the act of signing keys and creating a web of trust is meant to provide authenticity. Both are great when they are joined but this is actually not necessary. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create new mail that should be encrypted 2. select a key that is not trusted / signed by the own secring 3. watch kmail fail when sending the mail. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322700 --- Comment #3 from Jon Ander Peñalba --- Ok, I see the problem now. My mails are shown like in your screenshot only when replying mails start with "RE:". If they have the exact same subject they don't get grouped. [Akonadi] [Bug 322703] New: Mails get added to akonadi again and again
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322703 Bug ID: 322703 Summary: Mails get added to akonadi again and again Classification: Unclassified Product: Akonadi Version: 4.11 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: Maildir Resource Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: christiande...@web.de Since the update to 4.11 RC 1 mails get added to akonadi again and again. I have a local maildir resource and I am using pop3 accounts. Since 4.11 RC1 mails in most of my local folders are displayed several times in kmail and one finds them also several times in the parttable. And the number is increasing Clearing the akoandi cache via akonadiconsole helps until all the content of the folder is added again to akonadi. I did not jet find a pattern, which of my local folders are effected, as I have folders without duplictates and others which contain every message 11 times. Since bug did not happen for me with 4.11 beta. Please tell me if there a logs, etc. I can provide to help. Comment 1 in bug 322126 sounds similar, so maybe this one is a duplicate. But this bug is so grave IMHO, so I decided to make a new report just in case these are actual differnt bugs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run kmail 2. Wait 3. Get the message 10345 new mails for kde; 5000 new mails for 4. You still have 10345 mails in your .local/share/local-mail//kde folder but 20690 mails are displayed for this folder in kmail/akonadiconsole 5.The next 10345 mails are added to this folder in akonadi -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail2] [Bug 322697] New: Copying (or moving) a large number of emails results in empty maildir files
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322697 Bug ID: 322697 Summary: Copying (or moving) a large number of emails results in empty maildir files Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.10.5 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: NOR Component: commands and actions Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: morekdeb...@mailinator.com I am attempting to move a large number (c 27000) of emails into folders. The emails are from a backup and have been restored to a single folder. When I copy them from the backup folder, approximately 80% end up zero length and examining the maildir folder shows them to be 1 byte long. This may also explain why I am having to do a restore, as I originally had a large number of emails that appeared correctly in the akonadi database, but were not actually in the maildir and appeared empty when I tried to look at the contents. I am unable to restore old emails into kmail and will have to use another client until this is fixed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Import a large number of emails from a backup of a maildir folder 2. Attempt to copy emails to existing inbox or folder structure Actual Results: Kmail reports the copy is successful but examining the kmail directory shows many files of 1B - once the folder is refreshed these show up as Subject:(No Subject) Sender:Unknown Expected Results: All emails copied with the content intact. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail2] [Bug 265653] Error after filter moves message to different folder

[kmail2] [Bug 322676] New: massive regression - lots and lots of duplicate emails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322676 Bug ID: 322676 Summary: massive regression - lots and lots of duplicate emails Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.11 rc1 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: kol...@aon.at I'm using 4.11 RC1 (before 4.10.5) and I see a MASSIVE REGRESSION compared to the previous version with regards email duplication. My inbox and lots of other folders show lots and lots of duplicated emails to the point where kmail2 is now nearly unusable! I already deleted the whole .local/share/akonadi folder and after that the duplicated mails where no longer shown - until I receive new emails. I suspect it has something to to with the filters (and I think I read that for 4.11 there was some heavy change in that area - to the worse!) But even very old mails (e.g. from 2007 in my inbox) show up multiple times and not only new mails. My setup: I have 2 POP accounts and 2 local mbox files, and 46 filter rules (most of which check for a mailing List-Id) Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
