[Akonadi] [Bug 323844] Adding foldert to imap-account gives Duplicate entry sql error
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323844 --- Comment #4 from Daniel Vrátil dvra...@redhat.com --- @Geert, Akonadi by design does not allow having two subcollections with the same name in the same parent collection - this can however happen with special resources that handle various data types (like owncloud, which handles both calendars and contacts). Please open a bug report against the owncloud resource - the resource must make sure the name is unique within it's parent collection. The name that is displayed to user can be stored to EntityDisplayAttribute, so no worry that you would see one of your collections names like Kobalt_2 or something like that. @Johannes, can you please check in Akonadi Console - Db Browser - collectiontable that no collection with the name you are trying to create exists there, then try to create it and check again. If a new record with the name and remoteId filled is there, then there's some weird bug that KMail or the IMAP resource is trying to create the collections twice. Make sure you have Debugger enabled when creating the collection. If you get the error again, please provide entire output of the Debugger tab. [kmail2] [Bug 312460] Kmail can not show correct number of unread mails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312460 Jose Orlando Pereira j...@di.uminho.pt changed: What|Removed |Added CC||j...@di.uminho.pt --- Comment #43 from Jose Orlando Pereira j...@di.uminho.pt --- (In reply to comment #41) Created attachment 81027 [details] Correct fix. Correct fix is point 2. This causes an additional problem for me, at least with the MySQL backend and with akonadi-1.10.2: Unread count in the folder list does not reflect actual number of unread messages, but instead shows the total number of messages in the folder. BTW, there is also a similar query (i.e. itemWithFlagCount on SEEN) in ./server/src/handlerhelper.cpp that the patch does not change. [Akonadi] [Bug 316840] imap resource starts crazy connect / disconnect cycle to mail server
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316840 John Andersen jsam...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jsam...@gmail.com --- Comment #30 from John Andersen jsam...@gmail.com --- Just one instance of akonadi_imap_resource running in a OpenSuse 12.3 machine with KDE 4.11 pretty much saturated our own imap server running on our mail gateway. Akonadi was eating 50% cpu on the offending station. This is not fixed in 4.11, and its a pretty serious error guys. I've had to ban hammer kmail and send everybody back to Thunderbird. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

This happens even more frequently if Your name matches the original sender's name (such as when I send to my work account from my gmail account, both have the same name, but different email addresses. However, I have seen this when the names differ wildly. Reply-to-Author gets it right always, but simple Reply will some times get it wrong. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send a mail to yourself from a different Email Account but the same user name 2. Reply to with the R key in Kmail 3. Play with it, because it doesn't happen all the time. Actual Results: R/Reply/Context-Reply should reply to Sender (assuming a mailing list is not involved). Expected Results: Sometimes the Reply address is set up to go to the account from which you are replying.
