[Akonadi] [Bug 325485] New: Locally created events are not synced to the server
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325485 Bug ID: 325485 Summary: Locally created events are not synced to the server Classification: Unclassified Product: Akonadi Version: 4.11 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: DAV Resource Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: k...@lanrules.de I see all events from my CalDAV resource in KOrganizer just fine. When I create a new event in KOrganizer, it is apparently not synced to the server. Even forcing a sync of the resource in Akonadi Console or restarting Akonadi does not help. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an event in KOrganizer 2. Check if the event is shown in calendar plasmoid (it is) 3. Check if the event is listed in Akonadi console (it is) Actual Results: The event stays local and is not seen by Owncloud web calendar, Thunderbird or Android CalDAV sync. The event can be found in Akonadi Console but it has no remote id. Events created in other clients are shown with their CalDAV URL as remote id. Expected Results: We would expect that events have a proper remote id and are shown in other clients of the CalDAV server. The CalDAV server in question is OwnCloud 4.5.4. I sync to two different servers (both OwnCloud) and the result is the same with both of them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[kmail2] [Bug 312460] Kmail can not show correct number of unread mails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312460 --- Comment #57 from Rigo Wenning r...@w3.org --- Hi Christian, see http://paste.kde.org/pc2cba917/ this time, the incomplete list of emails was shown in akonadiconsole. Note that to get clear debugger messages, I had to turn off akonadi- nepomuk-feeder. Then I moved to inbox, cleared, switched to the other folder again and took the snapshot of messages into the paste.bin. Regards Rigo Wenning On Monday 30 September 2013 17:38:36 Christian Mollekopf wrote: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312460 --- Comment #56 from Christian Mollekopf mollek...@kolabsys.com --- (In reply to comment #54) I have CRM114 installed and do filtering on my imap account. This goes into a spam folder. While other folders are somewhat reliable, this one regularly makes trouble. Today again, I had it show 9 new messages in the left folder tree while not showing any message. I started akonadiconsole and akonadiconsole showed one message for that folder but told me it has 12 messages for 3Mb. So IMHO it affects not only kmail2, but also akonadi So you're saying: * new mail count is 9 in kmail in the folder tree * the messagelist is empty in kmail * akonadiconsole shows 12 as Total count in the collection browser * akonadiconsole only displays one message in the list I suspect this is a different bug as it seems akonadi is unable to fetch the messages (and that may or may not be related to the filtering). Please check what happens if you enable the debugger and then reselect the affected folder (switch to another one and back). Does the debugger show any errors? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312460 --- Comment #58 from Christian Mollekopf mollek...@kolabsys.com --- I already have one report claiming that no notifications are visible in the Notification Monitor at all, which either means that akonadiconsole has a bug, or that the server emits no notifications for the new email. It would be great if someone could confirm this, and make sure that notifications are generally visible in the Notification Monitor (i.e. when checking mail or moving stuff around). https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325516 Bug ID: 325516 Summary: Flooded by Login failed popups on imap access not allowed Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.10.5 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: carlo.togne...@europe.com My ISP, let's say ISPa, gives me an e-mail account@ISPa I can access this account via IMAP only when connected via an ADSL access provided by ISPa. When I connect to internet via other ISP, the imap service to account@ISPa is non available. This is by contract with ISPa. I've set up kmail to use IMAP to get mail sent to account@ISPa. Whenever I connect to internet via other ISP provider, I'm flooded by multiple pop-ups/second saying: Il server dell'account «Libero.it Carlo Imap» ha rifiutato il nome utente e la password forniti. Vuoi modificare le impostazioni, riprovare nuovamente ad accedere, o non fare nulla? Login failed, server replied: A02 NO IMAP4 access not allowed At this point I can just disconnect the PC from the network to have kmail to stop generating popus in a few seconds. To be connected to intenet without being flooded by popus and without stopping Akonady, I just have to setup kontact to work off-line and then I can reconnect the PC to the network. I already tried to setup the IMAP account to not start checking e-mails at startup, and also disabled the option to auto check e-mails. But: 1-every time I access the configuration for this IMAP account, if I'm connected I start to be flooded by the aforementioned popus 2- the settings have no effect, even if I restart Akonadi and kontact So: when connected via other ISPs, I can't use kontact (kmail) to check any of my account's emails because kmail has to be setup to work offline if I don't want to be flooded by popus. The work-around is to change the TCP port of the IMAP server before connecting from other ISPs, and then change it back when I connect from ISPa. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect to internet form ISP different from ISPa 2. start-up kontact (kmail) or simply akonadi Actual Results: Flooded by the aforementioned pop-us. Expected Results: Not open further pop-ups if one is still open. The pop-up should give the option to suspend checking account@IPSa so no further popus are shown. If the user doesn't realize that he can stop pop-us by physically disconnecting the network connection, the computer becomes unusable due to the amount of resources taken by the popups and the user need to reset the system, loosing unsaved data. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325524 Bug ID: 325524 Summary: Mail dispatcher stuck in loop when it can't send mail due to SSL problem Classification: Unclassified Product: Akonadi Version: 4.11 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Mail Dispatcher Agent Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: war...@gmx.de CC: vkra...@kde.org At the moment I can't send mails via one of my mail providers (gmx). I first noticed it in mutt, so I tried it with KMail. Upon the first attempt, it shows me a message saying that the SSL certificate does not match the host with the three choices Cancel, View details and Continue. If I then choose to view the certificate details, a KDE SSL certificate window opens. Once I closed that again, the mail dispatcher agent gets stuck in some kind of loop. It hogs one CPU core and starts eating ever more RAM (3–4 MB per second on this 3 GHz Pentium 4). I looked at it with Akonadi Console and it said “Sending email subject (0%)”. I am able to abort the sending process via the agent’s context menu. Then the CPU load goes back to idle, but the used up memory is not reclaimed. For a while both KMail and the Console becomes unresponsive, but eventually come back. Subsequent attempts of sending don’t give me the SSL warning, but the agent gets stuck again. This lockup loop does not occur if I simply abort the sending instead of viewing the SSL details. I don’t really want to try what happens if I choose “Continue”, in case someone really hacked the provider. :o) I can give you more info if you tell me what you need. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Send a mail over an SMTP that is secured with SSL/TLS. SSL authentication fails (host does not match). Actual Results: Mail dispatcher agent is stuck in a CPU and memory loop. Expected Results: The dispatcher should handle such an event more gracefully. BTW: When I close the SSL viewer, the dialogue which asked me on how to process is gone. However, it should still be there, because I haven’t answered yet whether to proceed or abort. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail] [Bug 174034] Word wrapping in effect even when turned off
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=174034 walch.mar...@web.de changed: What|Removed |Added CC||walch.mar...@web.de --- Comment #5 from walch.mar...@web.de --- I just tried to reproduce this bug with KMail 4.11.1, but it seems to be fixed now. What I could observe: - Long lines are softwrapped, no more hardwrapped. - This is also true when saving the email as a draft and reopening it. - Content-Transfer-Encoding was 7-Bit for long lines (less than 1000 characters), but quoted-printable for *very* long lines. Looks like it works perfectly now.
