[kmail2] [Bug 325575] New: mail list consistently greyed out of all folders since monday

2013-10-03 Thread arthur
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325575

Bug ID: 325575
Summary: mail list consistently greyed out of all folders since
monday
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.11.2
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: art...@van-de-weijer.com

Problem:
All mail folders (list of emails) where greyed out. As a result, emails could
not be seen, although horizontal lines could be seen. Problem emerged on
Monday, after daily update of Saucy.

Kmail re-installed. No changes.

I was about to do total fresh install.

Then I found that the colum Status was completely unfolded to the left,
leaving a grey-ish field. Draging left boundary of status to the right, makes
mails appear again.

A similar situation happened with Libre, which seems to be resolved by updates.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Issue needs to be confirmed.

2013-10-03 Thread Daniel Vrátil
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=293432

--- Comment #12 from Daniel Vrátil dvra...@redhat.com ---
When not using disconnected IMAP, List-Id (and other) headers were not fetched,
so the filter could never match them. Manually applying the filter means, that
user has to click the email first, so KMail opens it and the entire message
with all headers and body is fetched from server - after that the filter works
obviously.

In comment #9 Barade also says, that matching by From field works for him,
which aligns with the aforementioned bug nicely, since the From field is
always fetched.

[kmail2] [Bug 318108] Sent emails are not being stored on remote server

2013-10-03 Thread Wolfgang Bauer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318108

--- Comment #6 from Wolfgang Bauer wba...@tmo.at ---
I do have this problem as well (with just one of my IMAP accounts). It
happens with messages that have flags set which the IMAP server doesn't
support (f.e. $SENT, which is bad in this case as kmail/akonadi sets this
 for sent messages).
Those messages only get stored in the akonadi database and are never
uploaded to the server (because the server rejects them, I guess)
Good news!
After compiling kdepim-runtime with this patch, it is working for me even on
the mentioned IMAP account:
https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdepim-runtime/repository/revisions/c561149538336804f212f5a12ea6cf3d1a3a19f5

This didn't make it into 4.11.2 because it was a few hours too late, but it
should be fixed then in 4.11.3.(In reply to comment #2)

I had this problem with one of my IMAP accounts (sent emails were not forwarded

The problem:
This email can not be found in the today's list. I can found it on the last

I use an IMAP Account and via Webmail is it sorted correctly! The wrong sorting

copied a folder from my imap account into a local account. Now an entire tree
of local folders has disappeared. Verifying via shell, all the emails are
there. Folders also disappeared in akonadiconsole, so maybe also a bug of

[kmail2] [Bug 290363] Moved folders disappear

2013-10-03 Thread Rigo Wenning
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290363

(In reply to comment #5)
I finally found what went wrong: When moving messages from imap to local
folders by dragging over the folder, kmail2 changed the configuration of local
folders from .local/share/local-mail to
.local/share/akonadi_maildir_resource_0/ and put a new set of empty maildirs in
there. Manually setting the Local Folders agent in Akonadiconsole back to
.local/share/local-mail made the entire thing re-appear.

[kmail2] [Bug 325593] New: Systray icon does not show unread messages on startup

2013-10-03 Thread Grósz Dániel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325593

Bug ID: 325593
Summary: Systray icon does not show unread messages on startup
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: UI
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: groszdani...@gmail.com

The systray icon does not show the number of unread messages on kmail startup.

If I disable showing the number of unread messages and then enable it again, it
appears. It also appears if I receive a new mail, as well as on some ui
operations such as changing folders.

I can confirm this for KDE 4.11.2 on OpenSUSE KR 411 repos. Ending kmail2,
waiting 10 seconds, restarting kmail2 and all content is there. I see all
content in akonadiconsole, but happened that I did not even see all content
there.

(In reply to comment #4)
I can not delete folders from my imap account. (kmail2 4.11.2) but I do not get
any error message. Debuggger in akonadiconsole says:
AgentBase(akonadi_imap_resource_0): Failed to delete the folder, restoring
folder list.
if I erase the thing on the server via shell, I get later:
AgentBase(akonadi_imap_resource_0): Select failed, server replied: A000646 NO
Mailbox does not exist, or must be subscribed to.

If at least I would know where to erase those locally...

  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR

gpg does not work in Kmail when gpg is run through
/home/dmoyne/.kde/Autostart/start-gpg-agent.sh
where start-gpg-agent.sh contains :
#!/bin/sh
# to use gpg in kmail
if grep -q '^use-agent' ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf; then
eval `gpg-agent --daemon`
fi

But if in konsole I do :
eval `gpg-agent --daemon`
kmail
it does work

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use start-gpg-agent.sh in /home/dmoyne/.kde/Autostart
2. log though kde
3. try to send a message with gpg signature using pinentry-kwallet
Actual Results:
no gpg working

Expected Results:
gpg working

works if executed from a konsole as explained above

[Akonadi] [Bug 325599] New: Messages lost when moved to imap folder

2013-10-03 Thread Ferry
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325599

Bug ID: 325599
Summary: Messages lost when moved to imap folder
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 4.11
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: er...@kde.org
  Reporter: ft...@telfort.nl
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org

I have keep replies in this folder (inbox) checked. Also the accounts sent mail
is set to inbox.

Now I loose messages when:
I reply (reply lost)
Send a new mail (sent message should be in inbox but disappeared)
Move mail from another imap server to this one

The problem seems to depend on the imap server as well (happens with my
providers server - telfort.nl). At our company we run dovecot, and that has no
problem.

Note: the problem did not happen with KDE 4.10
Note: I am currently using KDE 4.11.2 from the Kubuntu PPA

Reproducible: Always
