[kontact] [Bug 325832] New: Kontact (Kmail) crashed on exit

2013-10-09 Thread Antonis Kanouras
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325832

Bug ID: 325832
Summary: Kontact (Kmail) crashed on exit
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.11.2
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: antonis+kdeb...@metadosis.gr

Application: kontact (4.11.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.11.2
Qt Version: 4.8.4
Operating System: Linux 3.8.0-32-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 13.04

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

This instance of Kontact (with Summary, Kmail & Akregator parts running) had
been running for 6 days.
During the last day it had not been able to update new message totals in
Kmail's folder list (not the first time it happened), among other signs.

Anyway, while in the Kmail part, I pressed Ctrl-Q to exit it and, a second or
so later, it crashed.

I can confirm this bug on Akregator/KDE (x86_64, Fedora).

I too sort posts by date and when searching and clearing the search string, the
order of posts appears to be random.

I exited KMail. Before I download all 196 messages. But I couldn't read them.
It was weird.

Examined the `holidays/plan2/holiday_ir_en-us` list of holidays, and the dates
are correct. So, I suppose this should be a mis-conversion from Hijri dates.

[kdepimlibs] [Bug 325826] New: Wrong Iranian holidays in calendar

2013-10-09 Thread Mehran Kholdi
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325826

Bug ID: 325826
Summary: Wrong Iranian holidays in calendar
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kdepimlibs
   Version: 4.11.2
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: kholidays
  Assignee: jl...@kde.org
  Reporter: semekh@gmail.com
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

Some of the holidays have off-by-one error.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In one of the applications supporting holidays (e.g. Calendar Widget), add
"Iran" holidays (I'll assume you added the American English language)
2. Oct 16th is noted to be "Eid ul-Adha", while it should be on Oct 17th. Also
Nov 1st is noted to be "Eid al-Ghadeer" while it should be on Nov 2nd.

Iranian holidays are based on Jalali + Islamic calendar.

I can also confirm this bug, in 4.11.x.

The 4.10.x series didn't exhibit this bug for me. I can confirm that the
4.10.x series did occasionally not show me all of the newly received messages
in a folder until I'd restarted kmail, but the drag+drop problem is new in
4.11.x.

After dragging+dropping a message into any folder, upon navigating to that
folder all I see are the messages which I'd just dropped there. After
restarting kmail I can see all of the messages, but I have to restart kmail
first (which *REALLY* sucks as I file a lot of mail into per-client folders and
then have to restart kmail every 10mins or so, just to be able to get to see
the rest of the correspondence I'd had with them).

As with the original poster, I'm using POP3 accounts, not IMAP.

I can also confirm that this is *HIGHLY* reproduceable. Take any message, drag
it into any folder that already has mail in it. Switch to that folder. *ONLY*
message you see is the one you just dragged there. (e.g. this bug is so
painfully obvious I'm actually surprised nobody caught it before release)

I can confirm this. Having same problem. Additionally, I'm loosing the sent
mail, which is painful in my case. I tried a trick: set the "sent folder" to
local folder, then a filter to local folders to move message to the imap "sent"
folder. Local store worked, but same result on filter action. Mail lost.
I tried to move message by dragging from local folder to imap. Same result:
message lost.
The only case when I not loose message if I drag within same imap account.
This issue started since I upgraded to 4.11 (from 4.10).

these are the error messages:
Append failed, server replied: A97 NO Error in IMAP command received by
server.
Store failed, server replied: A99 NO Error in IMAP command received by
server.
or
Store failed, server replied: A68 BAD Error in IMAP command UID STORE:
Invalid uidset

Of course, the imap server setup may be related. I have two account set up.
First one producing the first set of error messages. I'm loosing all sent
e-mail there.
The second account producing the second message >sometimes<. So in this case -
as the bug reporter said - sometimes working, sometimes not.

[kmail2] [Bug 325821] New: accept invitation sends TWO mails

2013-10-09 Thread Martin Koller
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325821

Bug ID: 325821
Summary: accept invitation sends TWO mails
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.11.2
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: commands and actions
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kol...@aon.at

Whenever I click on "Accept" onto an email I receive from my colleagues (who
all use Windoze Outlook agains an Exchange Server), kmail2 creates TWO outgoing
mails:
one is the real "accepted" mail, and the problem is the second one:
It is the same mail I received, with the same "From:" and "To:" Headers.
So whenever I receive an invitation and accept it, it gets delivered to all
recipients again - including myself ...

The sent mail seems not to be excatly a 1:1 copy of the original mail however,
as I find e.g. the header
User-Agent: KOrganizer/4.11 (Linux/3.7.10-1.16-desktop; KDE/4.11.2; x86_64; )
and an attachment with:
--nextPart1428619.I5Sl7TypH6
Content-Type: text/calendar; charset="utf-8"; method="request"; name="cal.ics"
Content-Disposition: attachment
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
PRODID:-//K Desktop Environment//NONSGML libkcal 4.3//EN
VERSION:2.0
...

I can provide the mails in private but I don't want to attach them here.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
kmail2 must never send the original mail again.

Please reopen this bug, because the issue isn't fixed yet and it occurs with
current release (4.10) too.

Thanks,

[kmail2] [Bug 325809] New: Left section resizes with window width with message list in left section

2013-10-09 Thread Malte Eggers
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325809

Bug ID: 325809
Summary: Left section resizes with window width with message
list in left section
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.11.1
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: mal...@lavabit.com

I just changed the layout to "show message preview pane next to message list"
and "short folder list". If I resize the entire window horizontally, only the
left section (folder list and message list) resizes, the message preview pane
stays the same size.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Settings->configure Kmail>Layout
Set "Folder List" to "Short folder List" and "Message preview pane" to "Show
the message preview pane next to the message list"
Then, resize the window horizontally
Actual Results:
The width of the left section changes the width of the message preview pane
stays the same

Expected Results:
It should be the other way round

[kmail2] [Bug 319212] kmail doesn´t show all the mails that are in the folder, while Akonadiconsole does

I am seeing this behaviour too.
KDE platform 4.11.2, OpenSUSE RPMs (64-bit).

Kontact also continues to show the same emails in the list after they've been
removed using another client.

Restarting Kontact (without restarting Akonadi) seems to be enough to correct
the list of emails for affected folders.

[kleopatra] [Bug 325806] New: Kleopatra 2.2.0 can't handle large (16K) RSA keys!

2013-10-09 Thread rsa_16384
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325806

Bug ID: 325806
Summary: Kleopatra 2.2.0 can't handle large (16K) RSA keys!
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kleopatra
   Version: 2.2.0
  Platform: unspecified
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: rsa_16...@byom.de
CC: m...@kde.org

After installing the new Gpg4win 2.2.1 (2013-10-07) version, I imported my
previously generated long (16383-bit) RSA secret key into Kleopatra. At first
everything seemed to work fine, but after some hours of frustration I came to
the conclusion that Kleopatra can't handle such large keys. It is possible to
encrypt a file, but not to DECRYPT. Every time after pinentry, Kleopatra
crashes with these details:

APPCRASH
gpg2.exe
2.0.22.8453
libgcrypt-11.dll

(given by Windows 8 Pro - 64 Bit)

Also, with Thunderbird 24.0 and the latest Enigmal v1.6, there is a similar
problem. It is possible to send encrypted emails with the 16K key public key,
but every try to decrypt the message with the private part crashes Enigmail.

It would be a pity if these days only 4096-bit keys would work with Kleopatra.
Any help appreciated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Encrypt file/email with 16K key.
2. Try to decrypt it, make pinentry.
3. Crash.
Actual Results:
Kleopatra application crash:

APPCRASH
gpg2.exe
2.0.22.8453
libgcrypt-11.dll

(given by Windows 8 Pro - 64 Bit)

Expected Results:
Accept pinentry, decrypt file/email.

Why large RSA keys might be already necessary:
