[kmail2] [Bug 327437] New: Filters don't work if the target directory isn't the default inbox (at least for POP3)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=327437 Bug ID: 327437 Summary: Filters don't work if the target directory isn't the default inbox (at least for POP3) Classification: Unclassified Product: kmail2 Version: 4.10.5 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: tobias.leup...@web.de Incoming mails aren't filtered if the target where they go is not the default inbox. In my case, I have selected a different inbox folder in a different collection for one POP3 account. No filtering is done at all for those incoming mails. When I apply some filter manually, everything works. More annoying, I had some trouble with the standard mail collection on another machine. So I removed the default collection and re-created it (with the akonadi config dialog). After that, no filtering is done at all, even if the mails got to the default inbox. [kmail2] [Bug 319204] Mailbodies are deleted by Kmails spam-bogofilter on the remote IMAP Server!
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319204 --- Comment #8 from piedro piedro.kul...@googlemail.com --- Thx for you looking into that. I don't know how to access any of my IMAP servers directly. They are all different hosted servers. I don't have command line access. Sry. I disabled all the spam filtering in kmail, cause I can't afford to loose these mails. But I know for sure the mails I am loosing are NOT one byte sized. Because there has been a mailbody before - just after filtering they turn up empty (without any content in the mailbody). maybe they are zero size after filtering? Sry if that's not helping but I can't experiment at the moment - I don't have another system set up for testing - it have only my production box atm. :-( thx very much anyway, piedro -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail2] [Bug 324203] abort sending mail, resend still shows aborted
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324203 --- Comment #2 from Martin Koller kol...@aon.at --- I had the issue today again and can reproduce it. I send an email to an SMTP Server, which is not reachable (our company internal server, which I do not reach when VPN is not activated). I get a Socket operation timed out error also in the top area of the mail still in the outbox. I now select the File Menu - Send Queued Message via - my providers public SMTP Server and the mail is now sent correctly. The mail now moved into the Sent mail folder is still marked with the red message block: Failed to transport message. eis2k212: Socket operation timed out However, when I try to send the queued mail via the original (first) mail server, which timed out, (so I activate VPN and select File - send queued messages) then the mail ends up in the Sent mail folder _without_ the original error. So it seems this only happens when the suceeding second transport is different from the first failing one. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

Next I recreate the spam filters and everything works fine - the spam is filtered to junk and not duplicated. Previously I created the spam folder fresh and setup the filters exactly as I've done here (only calling the folder spam) and this seemed to cause the problem. [kmail2] [Bug 325596] gpg does not work
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325596 --- Comment #5 from Sandro Knauß m...@sandroknauss.de --- No I didn't found anything wrong with your gpg config. But actually you are using kubuntu, so there you don't need the /home/dmoyne/.kde/Autostart/start-gpg-agent.sh and should remove it. Do you know where you found the tip about creating this script? The agent will be started with XSession see /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90gpg-agent ( part of gnupg-agent package). If that doesn't help, than I'll have to look into the code of pinentry-kwallet. One question a little bit unrelated, why do you want to store the passphrase inside kwallet? For me it sounds like a big secure break. I know the gnupg guy really care about, where, when, what is written to RAM/Harddisk, so make it very difficult to get to the encrypted gnupg key. And I don't think this is true for kwallet. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
