[Akonadi] [Bug 310381] Akonadi server selftest fail

2013-12-07 Thread Dan
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310381

Ehm, sorry. I wrote 'sshfs' but I meant 'encfs'.
But well, it may the same problem? I don't know where exactly akonadi stops and
when the encfs is unmounted on logoff.

[kmail2] [Bug 328507] New: Need to reboot to send emails

2013-12-07 Thread LtWorf
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328507

Bug ID: 328507
Summary: Need to reboot to send emails
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.11.3
  Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: tipos...@tiscali.it

I have pending emails to be sent, kmail refuses to send them even by clicking
on send pending emails.
To convince it to send them I need to reboot the entire computer (wut?) or
start WICD instead of my perfectly working connection done by a script with
ifconfig.

This automagic connection detection is broken. Just TRY to connect and raise an
error or whatever if it fails. NOT connecting just because there is no dbus
network manager thing is very annoying.

Reproducible: Always

2013-12-07 Thread Rainer Dorsch
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322199

--- Comment #8 from Rainer Dorsch m...@bokomoko.de ---
I checked my server settings last week and changed in
/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf

575c575
   #mail_max_userip_connections = 10
---
   mail_max_userip_connections = 30

The problem did not reappear since then.

Is akonadi opening more parallel connections now? Is that expected?

Rainer

I think that the problem is not the akonadi_nepomuk_feeder but
Akonadi::ItemFetchJob that does not fetch items.

Say you have an akonadi item 123456 that want to be passed to Nepomuk, try

qdbus org.freedesktop.Akonadi.Agent.akonadi_nepomuk_feeder /
org.freedesktop.Akonadi.NepomukFeeder.forceReindexItem 123456

You will get something like

akonadi_nepomuk_feeder(5709) ItemQueue::fetchJobResult: Not all items were
fetched: 0 1

It happens with mails, contacts and everything.

I'm testing 4.12 Release Candidate using the Kubuntu PPA. I'm using local
Maildir folders and POP3.

Searching for a particular Message-ID shows nothing, whether I use Anywhere in
Headers contains, Complete Message contains, or Message-ID contains
(typing the latter header name into the box).

The only header which seems to work is Subject.

Is there documentation of this full debug dialog for searching in 4.12?

[Akonadi] [Bug 326480] Akonadi fails to start

--- Comment #30 from Daniel Vrátil dvra...@redhat.com ---
Guys, can you please remove (or rename) file
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.freedesktop.Akonadi.Control.service ?

I found out that the auto-start does not work (probably because env is not
passed correctly with dbus invocation) and in some cases I believe it could
lead to the situation when only akonadi_control and akonadiserver are running
with broken dbus services.
