I did some more testing and found that if I don't have external references set
to display automatically and click the display link in each email then they
will print. This issue is only if in the settings you allow external
references.

[Akonadi] [Bug 324932] Cannot delete IMAP folder

2014-01-11 Thread Morten Lind
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324932

Hi Daniel,

Good fix for deleting. However, I have the same problem with moving. My Kmail
reports the response from my Courier IMAP-server: "Rename failed, server
replied: A001311 NO Can't RENAME the currently-open folder". I am on Debian
with kdepim-runtine v. 4.11.3-1 (testing, unstable)

It seems the same problem as the above, but I find no separate bug-report on
it. Do you think you could fix this? Or should I file a separate bug-report?

Best,
Morten

[Akonadi] [Bug 329848] Akonadi resource crashes

2014-01-11 Thread Geert Janssens
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329848

Final remark: removing the akonadi imap resource and recreating it fixed the
problem. I'm leaving the bug report open though because I should not have ended
up in that situation and hopefully the backtrace reveals the cause of the
issue.

[Akonadi] [Bug 329848] Akonadi resource crashes

2014-01-11 Thread Geert Janssens
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329848

While the crash assistant is active, the Akonadi configuration window shows the
following for the "Goudsmid info" resource:
Items verplaatsen uit 'INBOX' naar 'Geert' (0%)

This roughly translates as
Moving items from 'INBOX' to 'Geert' (0%)

'Geert' is a shared imap folder which is visible for several users on the mail
system. It can be used successfully by the same user on another system. That
system is currently still on kde 4.11.4 while the bug is reported from a system
running 4.11.5. That last part may lead to wrong conclusions though. When the
bug first appeared, the problematic system was still running kde 4.11.4. I did
update to 4.11.5 hoping that would fix the issue, but it doesn't.

2014-01-11 Thread Geert Janssens

Bug ID: 329848
   Summary: Akonadi resource crashes
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi

  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: chrig...@fastmail.fm
  Reporter: i...@kobaltwit.be
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org

Application: akonadi_imap_resource (4.11)
KDE Platform Version: 4.11.5
Qt Version: 4.8.5
Operating System: Linux 3.12.6-300.fc20.i686+PAE i686
Distribution (Platform): Fedora RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I simply opened kontact on a Fedora system. This worked fine about a week and
a half ago. I have been away for that time, so yesterday was the first time
this pc was started again. Since then I get this crash report when starting
kontact.

- Additional comments:
There have been no system changes that I'm aware of between the last time it
worked a wee and a half ago and the time it starts crashing.

Whenever I close the crash report assistent, the same crash report assistant
pops up again. I assume akonadi detects the resource has crashed and
automatically restarts it, repeating the cycle.

All similar reports the crash assistant found do point at the same bug report.
I don't know enough about the internals of akonadi to estimate if this is a
duplicate or not. Especially since the bug was closed in kde 4.8 and I'm
running kde 4.11.5. So to be on the safe side I decided to create a separate
bug report.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

[kalarm] [Bug 329730] reminder does not pop up at login if digital clock widget runs

2014-01-11 Thread Franky
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329730

This failure drives me crazy...

When booting today, no reminder popup appears. Also when i logout/login. The
only thing i did yesterday was to set the session from
"Restore previous session"
to
"Restore manually saved session"

A "akonadictl restart" in konsole: The reminder popup appears.

So i changed the setting to "Restore previous session" again and logout/login.
No change, no reminderpopup.

I noticed that kontact/kmail starts very fast. So i decided to close kontact
and logout/login... tadaaa: The reminder popup appears. Then i start
kontact/kmail and logout login tadaaa: The reminder popup appears at login
(before kontact/kmail starts).

The behavior with the digital clock is allways the same: If the clock is set to
show events, the reminder popoup will never show, regardless of a running
kontact/kmail.

As a dirty workaround, i wrote a script and run it at autostart:

#!/bin/bash
sleep 5
akonadictl restart

With this script the reminderpopup appears regardless of showing events in the
digital clock or in case of starting kontact/kmail at login or of "Restore
manually saved session". But this script has a uggly sideeffect: The folderview
in kmail is collapsed, so i must expand it to get the view of previous expanded
kmailfolders.

If i am the only one who have the failure of a "Reminder do not popup at login"
this dirty script will at least make me not forgot some birthdays...
