I feel it was caused during the migration from KMail 1 to 2. I'm running KDE 4.12 atm, but haven't had any issues with Akonadi specifically since at least KDE 4.9. Slightly offtopic, but: Thank you for the great work you guys have put in to make Akonadi rock solid. I've been using the same database since 4.10 and it is still working flawlessly, despite heavy daily usage, power failures, many out of memory/disk space incidents and even crashes (hardware related). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. However, kmail fails to encrypt the mail to the user with the other protocol. Therefore the mail is unreadable, if you select inline pgp for user b and it is unreadable for user a if you select pgp/mime. possible solutions: 1. Inform the user that it is not possible to send an encrypted mail to both users at once 2. Send the mail in different protocol versions to the different users. I think that solution 2 is the best approach. Maybe there should be a warning to the user and the possibility to abort. The second approach might interfere with bug 121692. [kmail2] [Bug 326817] kmail message list missing messages
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=326817 Matthias Nagel mh-na...@web.de changed: What|Removed |Added CC||mh-na...@web.de --- Comment #2 from Matthias Nagel mh-na...@web.de --- Hi, same problem here. But it I do not use dIMAP, I use only online IMAP. I have a gmail account that has one huge folder with 2.400 mails, that is affected by this behaviour. I already removed the account from kmail, deleted the IMAP akonadi agent and recreated everything. The behaviour is reproducible. Lets call this special folder, that shows the wrong behaviour, folder F in the following: Steps to reproduce: 1) Start KMail in the INBOX folder that has some new mails. 2) Switch to folder F. The message list appears empty. But if one points the mouse to F in the folder tree, the tool tip says x unread messages, y read messages with correct x and y. 2) Move these mails from the INBOX folder to folder F. Switch to folder F. The previously moved messages appear in the message list, but only those. 3) Switching to another folder and switching back to F still only shows theses messages. 4) Switch to another folder. 5) Restart Kmail, Kmails restarts and shows the other folder. 6) Switch to folder F again. The message list is empty again. The tooltip is OK. Even those messages, that were moved to F in the previous session disappeared. 7) Restart Kmail a second time, but this time stay in folder F. 8) Folder F shows all messages. Now one can switch around between different folders. Folder F stays OK. At least until the next start of Kmail that has another folder pre-selected. Some more observations: This behaviour also happens with any other folder as soon as there are more messages than something around 2.000. If Kmail starts with this folder pre-selected everyhing is OK. If Kmail starts with another folder, the affected folder appears emtpy but for those messages that were inserted in this folder during the same session. [kmail2] [Bug 319212] kmail doesn´t show all the mails that are in the folder, while Akonadiconsole does
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319212 --- Comment #16 from gra...@howlingfrog.com --- Just updated to KDE-4.11.5 and this issue has returned. :((( Dragged a few messages into a folder, then switched to that folder later on, and the only messages that were visible were the six I dragged there; the other 700+ messages weren't visible in KMail until I restarted the application again. Worse yet, it doesn't seem to be consistent; some folders work fine while others appear to get jammed up by dragging messages into them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Akonadi] [Bug 329988] New: Pipe Trough filter breaks 'To:' field for messages sent to undisclosed recepients
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329988 Bug ID: 329988 Summary: Pipe Trough filter breaks 'To:' field for messages sent to undisclosed recepients Classification: Unclassified Product: Akonadi Version: 4.12 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Mail Filter Agent Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: patr...@noxs.nl Messages sent by Arch Linux AUR notification system have a 'To:' field which contains 'undisclosed-recipients: ;'. After filtering this message for spam or viruses, the field is stripped to 'To' without a colon. This causes Kmail to misinterpret the next line in the header, in this case the subject. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: To reproduce the bug, you have to be subscribed to an Arch Linux AUR notification feed. 1. Disable automatic filtering and add one of the pipe trough filters to the Apply Filter menu (e.g. clamav). 2. When a message from the Arch Linux AUR notification system arrives, apply a pipe through filter.
