[kontact] [Bug 330460] New: Ambiguous shortcut 'Ctrl+Shift+T' in KMail when inside Kontact.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330460 Bug ID: 330460 Summary: Ambiguous shortcut 'Ctrl+Shift+T' in KMail when inside Kontact. Classification: Unclassified Product: kontact Version: 4.11.3 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: mail Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: daniel.horn...@gmx.de When pressing 'Ctrl+Shift+T' in KMail inside Kontact, an error notification pops up: The key sequence 'Ctrl+Shift+T' is ambiguous. Use 'Configure Shortcuts' from the 'Settings' menu to solve the ambiguity. No action will be triggered. There is no other competing shortcut in KMail though. Because this error only happens for the integrated KMail inside Kontact, not when started separately, I believe it may be that Kontact wants to keep shortcuts unique even across different Kontact applications. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Kontact. 2. Switch to the mail application. 3. Press Control-Shift-t. Actual Results: Error notification pops up Expected Results: Should open new mail folder tab, no matter what other Kontact apps may have decided for their shortcuts. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330447 --- Comment #3 from bgodu...@pcprotechs.com --- A simple way to test this additional feature would be to send yourself emails with images as attachments. Have Kmail redirect those messages to a specific folder as I have done for my security system. Then open those emails to see if your changes open the images inline when opening those emails. I'd be happy to send you some of these emails that my system captures if you wish and that way you could set up a redirection to a specific folder on my email address. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
