[kmail2] [Bug 334112] New: quick search (baloo/xapian) omits a lot of emails

2014-04-30 Thread T Kleindienst
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334112

Bug ID: 334112
Summary: quick search (baloo/xapian) omits a lot of emails
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.13
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: search
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: t.kleindie...@web.de
CC: m...@vhanda.in

Using IMAP

Select a mail folder.
Look for an email/some emails containing a certain word in the subject.
Do a quick search (search bar on top of listview) with the full word or part of
the word.
The result omits lots of findings. Yet trying other search terms may proove
successful?!

This behaviour does not change when limiting the search to only subject,
full email or any other setting.

Reproducible: Always

Oh, stupid MySQL :-) This hack should work:

DELETE FROM CollectionTable WHERE parentId NOT IN (SELECT * FROM (SELECT id
FROM CollectionTable)) AND parentId IS NOT NULL;

Sorry, I tested only with PostgreSQL, where DELETE FROM..SELECT FROM on the
same table works.

[kmail2] [Bug 334133] New: KMail filter does not find emails

2014-04-30 Thread Alvaro Soliverez
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334133

Bug ID: 334133
Summary: KMail filter does not find emails
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.13.0
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: search
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: asolive...@kde.org
CC: m...@vhanda.in

The filter feature on a folder and the Find messages action do not find certain
emails.

I haven't been able to figure out what's special about these emails, but it
already happened to me with 3 emails. The emails are in English, no special
Unicode chars.

The emails are on the folder, but searching for body, from, or subject won't
bring them on the results. Of course I search full message and that didn't work
either.

I'm on Opensuse 13.1, KDE 4.13, using Baloo.

rename the folders ~/.config/akonadi and ~/.local/share/akonadi when akonadi is
stopped.
I login the new user I create to make the same thing I did in the main one,
launched akonaditray to stop akonadi and., akonadi was not running,
this probably was the why knotes double the notes..., started akonadi and now
knotes works perfectlydoesn't double the notes but doesnt save it, I suppose
akonaditray popup this notification:

assign it to the default in knote config knote works well

[kontact] [Bug 334153] New: Kontact crashes when moving from Kmail to Summary

2014-04-30 Thread Chris
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334153

Bug ID: 334153
Summary: Kontact crashes when moving from Kmail to Summary
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.13
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: crgla...@gmail.com

Application: kontact (4.13)
KDE Platform Version: 4.13.0
Qt Version: 4.8.5
Operating System: Linux 3.11.10-7-desktop x86_64
Distribution: openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64)

-- Information about the crash:
I reported crash 33923 where I was unable have Kontact do anything beyond an
initial display of the summary screen. Einar on the community form suggested
adding ActivePlugin=kontact_kmailplugin in the kontactrc view section. That
did allow me to enter Kontact and use Kmail. I can view the calendar and
address-book. But when I go to the summary screen I receive this crash. A
re-boot has been necessary to reenter Kontact. A simple restart will not work.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

[kmail2] [Bug 332394] cannot accept invitation (configuration issue)

2014-04-30 Thread Stefan Schwarzer

Created attachment 86377

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kontact (4.11.5) on KDE Platform 4.11.5 using Qt 4.8.6

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
open meeting invitation from exchange server,
try to accept invitation (click on accept)

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
no reply email gets sent
no entry is made in any of the calendars/no popup to ask for a specific
calendar
button edge partly turns from solid to dashed
If I exit kontact at this point or later, kontact crashes with the attached
backtrace

- Custom settings of the application:
38 kB of custom settings, for invitations mostly the suggested options to
achieve MS exchange compatibility
