[kmail2] [Bug 334612] Selecting text and pressing enter doesn't replace the text but only adds a newline

I'll add to comment 10 that when you select several lines with keyboard,
especially at the end of the email you're replying to, the cursor is typically
not on the quoted line, and pressing enter does not remove the selected text.
This is really annoying.

[kontact] [Bug 336269] New: Dragging window from behind KDEWallet leads to KDEKontact crash

2014-06-15 Thread twtroughton
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336269

Bug ID: 336269
Summary: Dragging window from behind KDEWallet leads to
KDEKontact crash
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: twtrough...@gmail.com

Application: kontact (4.13.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.13.2
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.13.0-29-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: Logging in - Need to enter key
for Kontact - KDEWallet notification stays in front of all other windows - drag
window from behind it to enter passphrase - seems to drop into 'New messages'
pane on Summary page - Kontact crashes

- Unusual behavior I noticed: The window for the application I needed to enter
the passphrase for seemed to turn into a large KDE notification screen with
very small type

Suggestion - Don't let KDEWallet grab the screen but let other windows go on
top of it. All windows open in the middle of the screen, and so it is extermely
irritating to have to move windows around just to enter a passphrase simply
because KDEWallet misbehaves. It also grabs the attention even when I am
entering passphrases in other applications, leading to missed entries, which
wastes time.

There is 0 byte mails in maildir! Kmail get crazy by this emails.
Ok, something is bad because it shuld be NO 0 byte files in that directory.
But akonadiresource should handle this.

It seen that this 0 byte files are created when you click to FAST the mails and
switch from mail to mail BEFORE all filters rules are executed, duplicating
mails and mees up...
or actualy you are seen mail and change status (actualy from new to cur
only for seen the mail)
SOW IS A F**K RACE CONDITION (yes mi OLD pc help in make this because Iam
currently more fast to see mail that akonadi/kmail2 can filter)

Akonadi resource should note that is a 0 byte file and remove this or handle
properly.

Also, when I update to-dos (e.g. with a new priority or new info) they do NOT
get synced with gcal and after a while they go back to the previous situation,
making them pretty useless.

When you start akonadiconsole, do you see some error message for that
resource ?
In this you can toggle it to online again via the right-click popup menu.
Also when you select update in the calendar manager side-view in korganizer
it should ask you make it online ?
