[Akonadi] [Bug 338049] New: No error on wrong password
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338049 Bug ID: 338049 Summary: No error on wrong password Product: Akonadi Version: 1.10.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: DAV Resource Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: c.holterm...@gmx.de I have a CalDAV resource for owncloud installed that has been working about fine. I found that it hadn't been synchronizing anymore. I tried to find out why and realized that the password had been changed in the meantime and the CalDAV resource in akonadi had the old one still. It didn't complain in any way and that's what I want to point. There should be an error message when the synchronizing process is not working properly (for example because the password is wrong). Actually I find the interface not very transparent for finding out what went wrong. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

I can see only events that recurs.. I created a patch to fix this issue. Sorry, but this does not seem to be related to the issue reported here at all. What you describe sounds like bug#327256. Btw, I created a patch myself yesterday to fix this (before I saw yours now) and have uploaded it to reviewboard, see the other bug report. It fixes also another strange bug (that is difficult to explain, since my english is really poor): some event that recurs and that expires shortly after are reported as next 00.00. This is because the next date is invalid, I added a simply check. I tested the patch with kde 4.12.2 Could you please open a new bug report for this? It's unrelated to both issues. Maybe you should upload the second part of your patch to reviewboard as well. It might get lost here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Akonadi] [Bug 337951] The postgres process doesn't stop with Akonadi
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=337951 Daniel Vrátil dvra...@redhat.com changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |CONFIRMED Ever confirmed|0 |1 CC||dvra...@redhat.com --- Comment #1 from Daniel Vrátil dvra...@redhat.com --- This can happen with MySQL too. It happens when Akonadi is busy with some operations when you shut it down - akonadi_control will just kill the akonadiserver process after some waiting, so it's possible that akonadiserver never gets to shut down the database. We probably need a mechanism within akonadiserver to be able to abort running tasks and proceed to shut down as quickly as possible. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail2] [Bug 335162] KMail hangs while trying to delete a message with calendar information
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=335162 gra...@howlingfrog.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||gra...@howlingfrog.com --- Comment #3 from gra...@howlingfrog.com --- I can confirm same behaviour, when using 4.13. I have also tried using akonadiconsole to browse the mail and attempt to delete the message via that means (as I've had that work in the past to help me get around some areas where KMail would stall/hang when trying to delete a message). Doesn't work this time, though... akonadiconsole also hangs after reading a message with an ICS calendar event; after viewing that message it doesn't matter where I click in akonadiconsole, it no longer fetches data on the messages I'm clicking on. Restarting Akonadi (via akonadictl restart) and then restarting KMail allows me to get on to other things, but the instant I view a message with an ICS calendar event attached to it, it hangs and I have to kill KMail (as Quit leaves the process running, even though the GUI shuts down) and then restart Akonadi. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
