Nice idea Matthijs. Also shortening "Nachricht filtern nach:" to "Filtern
nach:" as its kinda obvious what KMail filters here. :) In english "Filter
by:".

Its an i18n change tough.

[knotes] [Bug 343505] New: find feature gives no results

2015-01-29 Thread vizzy
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343505

Bug ID: 343505
Summary: find feature gives no results
   Product: knotes
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: bugs.kde@vizzy.de
CC: myr...@kde.org

when using 'find...' from the context menu of the try icon, a window pops up
and asks for a keyword.
it doesnt matter what i enter here, iahev well known keywords in my notes, but
nothing is found.
it says: 'no search results'

but the word is definitely there, at least once.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. write a huge amount of notes with wlel known keywords, old and new knotes
2. migrate from old kde knotes to new format
3. call find feature from try icon
4. enter keyword
5. nothing happens, nothing found

Actual Results:
'no search results founrd'

Expected Results:
find all notes with the given keyword

(ps: i use knotes for a couple of years, some update in the past migrated to a
new format maybe theres is an index missing?)

Hello,

Knotes opens all notes at once on startup after login to kde.
this brings up >100 of my notes on different desktops.
i had to wait and manually close all notes via 'hide all notes' from the
context menu of the tray icon.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create lots of notes
2. close/hide all notes
3. logout from kde
4. login again and when knotes starts it brings up all notes at once.

Actual Results:
solution so far after every login: wait until all notes are opened, then
manually close it

Expected Results:
only visible notes should be visible after login
