https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342756 Wolfgang Bauer wba...@tmo.at changed: What|Removed |Added CC||wba...@tmo.at --- Comment #3 from Wolfgang Bauer wba...@tmo.at --- (In reply to Larry CK from comment #2) That is a good new. Thank you for the fix! But there is a downside to it as well. It sais it is fixed in version 4.14.6, KDE website latest announcement is that version 4.14.3 is released, OpneSUSE has pushed 4.14.4 to its users. With KDE working hard on V5 (and I for one can't wait until is good enough for daily use) 4.14.6 release seems to be some time away. No. 4.14.6 has been released last Tuesday, together with KDE 14.12.3. See https://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-applications-14.12.3.php, you'll find this fix in the full changelog for kdepim-runtime. From what I understand, there was one line of code added to 6 files. Maybe there is a way to match those files in 4.14.4? i'd appreciate if someone could give instruction on how to patch it in. Probably. Click on the link in comment#1 to download or view the patch. Then apply the changes to the downloaded source manually or use the patch command to apply them. Do you know how to compile kdepim from source? If not, you'd probably better just wait until openSUSE releases the next KDE update, which will contain KDEPIM 4.14.6. This might take a few weeks though, but the packages should be available in the update-test repo as soon as the update is submitted (probably in the next days) if you don't want to wait that long: http://download.opensuse.org/update/13.2-test/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[akregator] [Bug 344887] New: Akregator doesn't remember read items after restart
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344887 Bug ID: 344887 Summary: Akregator doesn't remember read items after restart Product: akregator Version: unspecified Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: yas...@gmail.com Using akregator version 4.14.1.. I have about 10 different feeds from various news sites. Every time I close akregator and then reopen it later (for example, if I am going to sleep and turn off computer, then wake up in morning and start computer) akregator things every article is new, even ones I have read last time. It marks them as read while akregator is open, and works fine, until I close and reopen it later.. It can't seem to save/remember any articles at all.. Also, I have the archive articles setting set to 8 days.. But it seems like maybe it doesn't remember those either?.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open akregator and mark some articles as read.. 2. Close akregator completely. 3. Reopen akregator. Actual Results: Forgets every thing, and it things all news items are new and that I've never read them before.. Expected Results: It should keep items marked read as read, for ever, even if I close and re-open the program at a later point in time.. One thing about my configuration: I have akonadi completely disabled because I have no use for that thing.. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342756 --- Comment #2 from Larry CK blackrave...@gmail.com --- (In reply to Martin Koller from comment #1) Git commit 0cb0e2f5efc7d76033f9b9ccc83aeebe9845f338 by Martin Koller. Committed on 31/01/2015 at 14:44. Pushed by mkoller into branch 'KDE/4.14'. Fix missing mail flags; avoid code duplication This patch uses the new method Akonadi::MessageFlags::copyMessageFlags() to copy the mail message flags into Akonadi objects, avoiding code duplication. Some places did not do this previously leading to mail flags never appearing (or getting lost) in Akonadi Related: bug 286692, bug 313401, bug 327241 FIXED-IN: 4.14.6 REVIEW: 14 M +1-1CMakeLists.txt M +1-13 resources/imap/messagehelper.cpp M +3-0resources/maildir/maildirresource.cpp M +2-0resources/maildir/retrieveitemsjob.cpp M +6-0resources/mbox/mboxresource.cpp M +3-0resources/mixedmaildir/mixedmaildirstore.cpp M +2-9resources/pop3/pop3resource.cpp http://commits.kde.org/kdepim-runtime/ 0cb0e2f5efc7d76033f9b9ccc83aeebe9845f338 That is a good new. [Akonadi] [Bug 340813] sometimes two copies of mysqld are running with Akonadi
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340813 --- Comment #7 from Martin Steigerwald m...@teamix.de --- Okay, I think I got a hint today on why it might not finished MySQL properly. Today I got connection losses with Exchange again (its seems quite easy to trigger these, I am at the moment using archivemail to reduce amount of mails on the server to see whether it may help). And to bring things back up I stopped Akonadi with the intention to start it again. Yet on stopping I got: ms@merkaba:~ tail -f ~/.xsession-errors Executing search kmail2-1312955980-SearchSession Search done kmail2-1312955980-SearchSession (without remote search) Result: 0 matches posting retrieval request for item 1890571 there are 1 queues and 0 items in mine request for item 1890571 still pending - waiting processing retrieval request for item 1890571 parts: (RFC822) of resource: akonadi_imap_resource_0 QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /home/ms/.kde/share/config/activitymanager-pluginsrc konsole(3229) Konsole::Session::run: Attempted to re-run an already running session. konsole(3229) Konsole::Session::run: Attempted to re-run an already running session. akonadi_imap_resource_0(3221) ChangeItemsFlagsTask::onSelectDone: Select failed: Die Verbindung zum Server ist abgebrochen. [Akonadi] [Bug 344874] New: username/password not being sent in header
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344874 Bug ID: 344874 Summary: username/password not being sent in header Product: Akonadi Version: 1.13.0 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: DAV Resource Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: emre...@gmail.com I always get a 401 error in configuring the DAVCal resource (when I click on fetch). I cannot click OK to continue. After inspecting the logs, it seems like the DAVCal resource is never sending the password in the header when it attempts to do a PROPFIND on the URL. Since I am already giving you the username and password, then it should be sent in the header always correct? Or at least when it sees a permission denied, another request should be sent automatically with the supplied username and password. Note I am using DAVMail as the server, and the same server with the same settings works fine for Lightning in Thunderbird, and various other Caldav clients. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Here are my steps in korganizer: 1) Settings - Configure KOrganizer 2) General - Calendars - Add ... 3) Dav groupware resource 4) bi...@hotmail.com / password (it's an o365 account) 5) Next - Configure the Resource Manually - Next 6) Display name: AcmeExample 7) Leave everything else filled in as is. 8) Click on Add 9) Select CalDAV 10) Remote URL: http://127.0.0.1:1080/users/bi...@hotmail.com/calendar Actual Results: I receive a dialog box which states: There was a problem with the request. (401). Expected Results: Populated discovered collections box. I am using DAVMail running on port 1080 which is translating caldav, imap, cardav, etc speak into exchange speak. I have attached (or will once it's filed) the wireshark logs of the communication, and a plain text debug logs from the server communicating with the client. I have noted this as Grave, because I cannot use akonadi's DAV Resource at all until you send the username/password in the headers. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
